I would like to quoute another users comment, "Since I started using my N70 over six months ago, the phone has been nothing less than total business convenience and personal pleasure for me."
This couldnt be more true, I have used my phone for both buisness, and personal use, and havent yet faced a single problem.
I am running many thrid party softwares and applications on my phone, along with the applications which i got with the phone, and I have no complaints.
The office feature with word, excel, powerpoint etc as well as the image editor have proven to be really useful for me.
The samera is exceptionaly good, for pics taken in the day time, flash is useful too. I particularly love the slideshow, with the backgrund music of your choice, the selection key, and the shortcuts on the desktop, other than the two primary ones are a welcome relief. The Mp3 quality is good too.
SO far the phone hasnt ceased to amaze me...
Existing users of symbian phones, please note: shut down open applications, dont keep them on standby, you can shut them down by dong the foll:
Go to ur desktop (wallpaper),
Press the menu button for approx 3 secs,
a list of the applications running in the background will appear on the top-left side of the screen, click on any application (excluding the one which sows (phone/handset, this is ur OS) and close the application by selecting exit.....
Background applications use up memory and make the system slow, or else cause the phone to hang/freeze...

i upgraded my n70 firmware
wen i check my firmware by *#0000# .. it is still the same as b4.....

Hi russell,
what is USIM card? is it similar with memory card? can i update the phone online?
im afraid of losing all the phone books & data. any idea? how to back up all stuffs?

People having problems.
The reason why your N70 is sooo slow is because you dont have a USIM card. It really speeds things up...
yes nokia have a history with problems but the seem to fix these. Software issues can be solved with a simple Software/Firmware update...

i get my memory cards & covers from tooting, there are loads of shops ther thet sell them 4 good prices. My N70 cover was £5 & its good quality 2

my n70 makes a weird, soft noise when the screen is on but if the screen goes dark it's silent. listen at the bottom of your phone for the sound and please tell me if your n70 also does it because it is driving me MAD

is there anyone facing video shooting bugs, i mean freezing for secs? find any solution? if ur having same lags n found the solution,,, plz plz plz lemme know.

I use a N70 for business, used for 3 months approx. Nothing but problems, here is a list:
Phone turns off, phone says has signal but cannot connect, phone freezes, has a mind of its own for ringtones, changes to silent on its own, changes volume on its own, loses caller id sometimes, poor battery life. Shame as it has good features but not usuable for the simple things. Now changing to a new phone. Stear clear!!!

i have install few application in this phone and it runs very slow now.
can i move the install application to my phone memory? how do i do so?? can some one help?
can i delete the games as well cos i dont really use the games.

Hi, I am planning to buy Nokia N70. Can anyone tell whether there is any problem with this phone?? does all the features work fine? and more importantly, where is the cost hovering around in India now.. Can anyone email me about COST and its PERFORMANCE please.

I and my friends use this phone and we all are having a problem signal faliar. NOW none of our phones are working. when we gave to repair the service cenrter they said they cant repair it. can anyone tell me where i can get this repaired about 10 phones alltogether we got.

CRAP phone. Way too complicated! And its really slow to open up applications. I had a Sony Ericsson K750i, and loved it. So gutted that i changed to this nokia. those that are considering this phone, one word....DONT!

Why i am i hearing alot about this phone and how it has alot of probs,i just ordered this phone and i just waiting on it from ups,from ths specs i am seeing i believe its a pretty good phone we just have to learn to take care of our stuff.i will be getting it soon however do descriminate people to buy the phone because all phone have their issues,so pls
