n70's camera sucks. try to compare it with just tha 6680 w/ using its 1.3mp resolution and n70 w/ its 2mp and still 6680 will get a higher kb in pic., it means that 6680's 1.3 is better than a 2mp camera of n70..what does that mean???? isn't it 2mp pics are always supposed to be bigger in size than 1.3's??
and still the flash of 6680 is brighter...n70 sucks.

Its an amazing phone but then just wanted to know How can I hide image/mp3 files from the gallery? whenevr I save any picture in the memeory, it's accessible through the Image gallery, which I don't want.

Nothing really important because my phone is okay now. I would just like to know that how come my memory card got corrupted while i'm not doing anything on it yet and the memory is not yet full? Another thing is that... which is the worst ever, after my mmc got corrupted, I cant format it because my phone always say that no mmc is inserted. I wonder why my mmc cannot be read. My cousins told me that it was already damage and cannot be use anymore...

this handset was given to me as gift by a close friend and i have only had it for about 2months.being a Nokia handset fan for a couple of years i am really not happy with the short battery life of this handset as it has let me down a couple of time. My solution is to carry an extra battery wherever i go! this handset is not userfriendly!i'm even considering selling this handset and getting something else!

I was skeptical when I saw the size of the mobile (compared to my previous samsung d500) as to whether I would really gain anything from having a smartphone. However after using the phone for about 3 days I realised that there were many features that I would use everyday.
Firstly I'm not an organised person, I find it difficult to remember which side of the bed to get out of after a heavy night out. The calender I found to be very simple to use allowing me to set many alarms/events/birthdays with ease. This coupled with whats coming up displayed on the main screen permanently, means that I rarely lose track of what needs to be done.
Secondly the screen, it's very big put simply and once i've got used to it I am going to find it difficult going back to a smaller phone (thats if I do). It displays the high quality photos and videos in a very slick way, especially as the whole screen can be used when turned sideways. Also games look very good and draw peoples attention on the bus or with your friends.
Thirdly the way it can be customised completely. Icons on the main screen, the order of the menu, folders, themes (thousands available online), ringtones, buttons, bakground etc. The phone actually becomes what you want it to be - all be it a tiny bit too big!
Last but not least the ability to actually use it as a phone! Most of these smartphones/pda's lose track of what they are actually there for. This phone doesnt look too big against your ear, the keypad is quick and comfortable for texting and it doesn't require some bluetooth gadget just to use it.
There are two downsides to this phone, the first being that the camera cover is a lot worse quality than the rest of the phone (it creaks when you hold it) and secondly the phone can be a tad slow when you put a lot of stuff on it. The speed issue is something you get used to and also something I hope Nokia will have addressed with their new smartphones by the time I go to replace the N70.

I see number of people are asking how to turn Off the flash. While in camera mode push left side of 5-position button. Then go down to Flash.

The phone is good but the cover flaked off it also cost me alot and the memory card feature is not at all pleasing . i have mine for 6 months and its not the best thing yet there are tons of better phones on the market and i cant wait to get rid of this one

First of all to all N70 users "please do not use any 1giga memory card on it".i do not think this phone is suitable for 1 giga.if you want to have more memory on please buy and use a 512mb/2giga/4giga memory card,please,this will be better.with 1gig cards this phone has som lags.
and if anyone want's to bey this phone just buy it,it will be the best deal for your money.i admit this phone had bugs on softwar
but now as the more new versions are coming it is really safe to buy the phone.
the only lack this phone has that it has no autofocus on the camera,but still the camera is one of the best on it's class.Even though N90 has one autofocus camera with an Cerl Zeiss Optics it is still not as good as N70 ,because N70 does take better pictures then N90,trust me i had use both the phone by myself.
One more thing if you want a better looking Phone buy N70 Rather then N90.N90 is big and bulky where N70 id kute & smart looking handset.now that the new original Black Cassing is Available i think this phone will rock again.
Let me tell you one more thing the back cover of the camera looses up slightly after a few days but it's not that much,this phone lacks a macro mood,the noise lavel on the pictures are little bit buzzing(but still the picture is good).
The sound quality is excellent,the stereo speakers are something to pay for.the music player plays the songs even in eAAc+ format which approximately 1mb per song.
But if you want something more than a phone then wait for 6months & then buy the new N73,because after that period the software versions will be updated.

Is it feasible to buy this model? Because I want to play mobile games but i dont want to buy n-gage. What worries me is the thought that n70 does not have changeable casing and the keypad might soften fast... Watcha think?
