I've had this phone for 6 months now and can't wait to get rid of it! It has a lot of excellent features such as the camera and mp3 player etc, but the whole package is let down by the fact that it is so SLOW! From the time you receive a text message, for example, to the time it is displayed for you to read takes over 7 seconds. This can be improved slightly by changing your Log from storing 30 days worth of numbers down to 24hrs worth of numbers, but it is still infuriatingly slow. I am on my 3rd N70 as I have had software problems galore. My personal verdict; don't buy any phone with a symbian platform, no matter how good the phone's features appear to be.

I was wondering whether or not the nokia n70 have faceplates that you can change. I have some scratches on my phone and if there are faceplates available, I would like to buy some. Thanks!

I have had the n70 for 3 months now and it is a SOLID fone. does everything that i want it to do and more. playing mp3s and music vidoes are really cool. im carrying a 1 gig card in my fone so i am also using it to watch FULL LENGTH movies!!! even with all these other "thin, smart fones" coming out. I have yet to see a fone that is out to bet this. ( besides why would you need a 3 mega pixel camera when on a n70 there is a rocking PICTURE EDITOR!!!??) I LOVE MY N70...and besides the silver color matches my bmw x5

I have now had 4 of these pohones through orange all through tech difficulties they had to change it, except the last time as I drowned it in some coke!! I have somehow managed to set the keys to video call as my first option and the helpful guys at orange now dont know how to undo this.........any ideas? I find also it freezes on me and so I often have to reboot it, it then often looses the memory card and again needs rebooting, this has been a reoccuring problem in all 4 of the ohones I have had. As I always get the most up to date phone and wanted this before it had been lauched, I am dissapointed with its perforamce and in 9mths time will be changing it FAST

Not slow. I use 2gb and it is perfectly fine. No lag.

this phone has good features, but it works slowly with 64mb card, my friend is using 512mb card with this phone and the speed of phone is very low. it is better to go for sony ericsson w810i

i am facing problem with the keypad of my N 70. the keys '1', '3' are not working unless i put a lot of pressure on them.
Can any one tell me how to dismantle it. Becos i want to check whether the keypad is allright before i give it to service.

i have this phone and it rocks! it has many features and its pretty easy to use once youve used it for a day. i love it!

Well, I don't know about other service providers, but the software manipulations the provider I use issued are worse than a 5th grader could've done... Some of you will realise what I'm talkin'bout. :) Sorry about the eventual language or grammar hicks, I'm hungarian and I live in Romania... ;)

Please do not buy this handset as I am experiencing hell lot of trouble with this handset after changing it twice. I am still experiencing same issues with replaced handset as well.
