Whats the point in having a '10 day standby' (which i personally dont believe) if you can then only use it for 5 mins after 2 days without charging? The battery life is appalling - and I hought Nokias had great battery life?

can anyone who has much more experience using the N70 inform me on the following:
1. Can yo set the alarm for longer periods than one day at a time?
2. If you put up a reminder - can an alarm sound be attached to it?

Anyone know, How to switch off the sound with camera? I mean the kacahk sound when we capture an image?

there is my solution to the loud nokia tune when turning on the phone.
before switching off your phone ,choose the "silent profil" like that when you restart it your phone you will not have the nokia tune:-) it's the only solution.
try it & you'll be satisfied ..:-)
To all:
*To have more battery life ,try to desactivate the "dual mode " of reception & choose "GSM" ,try to desactivate bluetooth if you don't use it.
*if you have installed an antivirus ,try to desactivate it when you're not connected to internet & the phone won't be as slow!

hi gaysss if u hav battery problems wid ur N70, change ur battery n try BL-6C, this ll give u dream time,, yess 3 dayss of standby n 4 hours n 30 min of talktime ((my guaranty)) and if u r music lover BL-6C will give u lot more time to listen music as compare to BL-5C...

just bought my n70 2 days ago... i love it! no regrets... im wonderin' can i change my font? my friend's n70's font is arial narrow i think, mine is like times new roman. if anyone knows how to do it. kindly reply! thanks a lot!

N70 is 4 weeks old, has spent 3 days at Nokia "no" Care and still will not reliably receive calls. Nokia have promised a new phone but cannot deliver for 14 days! Hopeless!

Great phone but Nokia told me I cannot turn off the very loud Nokia tune that plays every time I turn it on. This is a bad feature and means you attract attention every time you turn the phone on

Hi guys. I bought N70 and everything looks great, very happy with it except than I have an icon under the network icon and it looks like /on top of =. Can somebody help with issue please. Thanks in advance

I have had no problem with my battery life at all. If i don't use my phone much it lasts bout a week and if i'm using it heaps it will last 2-3 days. I think thats pretty good compared to most phones

TO INCREASE UR BATTERY LIFE :
1.keep the brightness level at level 1 (1 less than medium).if ur battey last for 1 days in overall uses ,after this it will be for 2 days.
2.charge ur battery for 3 hrs (even ur set shows that 'battery is full'.)
3.obviousley turn off the blutooth.
4.stop using flash !(u know flash is almost uslees )

Had the handset for 2 days, and have been trying to get the contacts from my 9500 to copy on memory card to this, and have discovered that the rs mmc cards i have for the 9500 have 7 pins on the back, whereas this has 13. so they aint compatible, so again, i will have to buy more memory cards.
The keypad is too small for my fat thumbs/fingers, the standard ringtones are horrible and the charger socket has been reduced in size, so unless i use the adapter they gave me, none of my old nokia chargers will work with it.
The phone seems slow compared to my 9500 and the menu system and icons are nothing like i am used to on a nokia.
I will try it for another couple of days, then make my mind up whether to return it for something else.
