This nokia is crap, bluetooth keeps disconnecting itself? GPS dont know where its at and head set???? orange firmware I guess? does any body know where to get new version unbranded -I can flash my baby with?

I have it and i love it...but can't wait 4 n80.
Can somebody pls help me. I changed my mem card and with it the office programs and other progs r gone. How can i transfer those progs to my new mem card? I tried the content copier. Thnx!^_^

guys.. could you pls help me to find out how to activate the active stand by mode. Becoz i just got mine today, and i checked the guide its supposed to be menu>tools>settings>standbymode>active standbymode (i could have messed up in the process, but anyway) i couldnt find the active standbymode options in the standbymode. All that it has is only left key, right key and the navigations and active keys. All helps will be appreciated.
Btw.. just to give u a bit of impression about the phone. My bro just send a mp3 file to this phone (he got LG U8360 and i myself got the same file in my K750). We compare the speaker sound, and we decide the result is:
1. K750
2. LG U8360
3. Nokia N70
Sad? well.. i don't bother since i got K750 (that's my multimedia phone, since it got a good mp3 and camera) and N70 is my symbian phone+3G, for applications purpose :p.
U might not believe me, but that's the truth, go and do it urself, u will know what i mean.
I don't mean to bash the phone, since i also admit that this phone is great, i just wondering how to activate the active standby mode... i guess the bl**dy 3 provider in australia had messing around with the phone

Hello again from the phillipines, sorry i cant help it reading your opinion and doing nothing to help you guys.
To Farido - if you're more on calling why not stick to 6230i which is cute , concealable and with great battery life.
To Ronald - you're an ex 6230 user just like me, dont you have any problem using the N70 text messaging(editing,forwarding replying,inserting numbers and names)compare to 6230i? how about the bulkiness of it? the keypad? the time waiting to open programs?

To all would be buyers of N70 good luck and i hope youll enjoy the unit. I have one right now given free, thank God for that, but i found it somewhat not that great when it comes to SMS, unlike my cute but very reliable N6230 which i'm using for the last 2 years, specially in my work. I hope NOKIA Owners/Company will come up soon a unit that isa just like the size of N70 and it's feature just like 6230i(which opens faster!)I really do love texting with my 6230 with features like insert number,contact, reply empty screen or original text etc etc... if you are a text addict you will be disappointed having N70. Regarding battery life no comment as of this moment cause i really dont like using it for my work, which is sending report and replying to millions texters hehehe..... i havent really explored it but from my other unit SE K608i i can save battery life from 15 hours only to 3 days, just by turning off the 3G connectivity. Good luck N70 users.

n70 is worth of paying 19k (INR)!! OS platform is also good but i find this phone torpid when i access gallery/images etc.. it should have been quick! a freaky bug is when you activate the autolock option the media key does not workS!!! this is really dumb! rest of the things are "ok"!

should I get a N70 or N71? I know that the n70 is cheaper, has the older symbian OS but that allows it to support more 3rd party software but no infrared. N70 has received very positive feedback and should have been well-refined by now. On the other hand n71 has the 3rd edition symbian OS which does not support much 3rd party software. However it has infrared, a QVGA quality screen however it is a larger and heavier phone and has not really been reviewed. Any suggestions people??

No Assad its sound is not like SE W800. W800 is basically walkman phone and thats specially designed for Songs u cant compare in sound only N-91 has good sound on level W800 but i read in the opinions N-91 has a sound quality but Not like W800 in speaker phones Nokia might can b good then SonyEricsson
Battery is perfect but i will prefer u for N-70

No doubt in that great phone that is my daily use is 5 to 6 hour me also charge battery daily in night then i will say battery is good features good speed is good perfect phone in all fields I Love Nokia Batteries

anyone please tell me that n70s volume is as loud as se w800 ? ? ? pls lemme know this and i would seriously be thank ful to u . i m relle confused . i just want a cellfone which have as loud volume as w800 and as for battery life , will battery last enough for 2 hours of listening to mp3 songs ?

iam from nigeria,this nokia we talking about, many people were saying that it is too small i augusting preffered it to nokia N90, it is very potable and beautiful, i so much love it

Same thing as everyone, the battery's depleted quick i charge it nearly daily though charging takes up a shorter time than most phones. if you could do anything to help this situation out that would be really neat.Otherwise its perfect!

i'v been using N70. i find it good. i think it has one problem that is, its battery runs out very quickly if talking.but look on the bright side, it has a good memory as well as a great camera.so, its a good set to me.

i got my N70 yesterday! but just can't figure out what i need to do to send an sms! it always says "message sending failed!" it never goes through, yet i can receive them! is there some setting i need to change? please help!

Hi guys, I have been using this phone for few weeks, it really works well. N70 comes with all the function i need like pdf reader, nice MP3 sound quality. But I seen the post from some user, about the sound quality, i think maybe is the sound compression problem, make it to 44000 which is equivalent to CD quality. You will love the sounds quality. Normally, 1 songs may occupy about 3 to 4mb. If the songs occupy less than 1mb (Usually included when you buy the phone from shop), the sound quality surely will be low. Try it out.
For the keypad lock, it really simple by just install auto keypad lock for less than USD4, Which is cheap compare to the quality of the phone and you really need it.
My N70 really makes me feel good, in term of phone stability, design quality, memory wise, symbian OS. Nokia, great invention. I am going to use this phone till new technology which i really need in future release (Apart from Wifi, bluetooth, 3g). I will until something new from Nokia.
My Ex phone list, Alcatel, Erisson T10, Nokia 3310, Nokia 3610, Motorola, Nokia 3108, Nokia 6230, Nokia 6630 and finally, my N70.

If you thinking to change phone, go for N70. You won't regret. Make sure the firmware is V5.0609.2.0.1
