i bought a n 70 2 weeks ago..... other functions working properly.. but i couldnt connect my data cable to my pc. it says not connected ... so pls can some one help me how to connect it???????

hi!
saw a number of u ppl's opinion tat 512mb memory does't lag.. how abt 1GB? will it.
i heard the most it can go is 600+, then it'll cork up. is it true? btw, issit possible to put anime in e memory card to watch?
oh ya, my hp suddenly vibrate non-stop, and could only stop when i switch it off. is it anything wrong with it? or has similar thingy happen to anyone?

I got this phone about a month back, it is awesome phone ever craeted by Nokia. The only problem I faced is it gets slower with 256 mb card, can any one help me to resolve this issue?

Other ppl also noticed the Five-way scroll key problem,
it seems that Nokia did a step back here on reabilty comparing it to 6680,
also the N70 battery doesnt last as much as a K750,6680 does,
the first editions were reported to have many problems, thats why i ve waited so much time to wait a new software edition to fix those bugs,
the OS and MMC doesnt look much faster than the ones i had on 6680 (i dont what happens for MMCs bigger than 512MB, my experience on K750 and a 2GB MSDP says that there has to be a noticeable difference over 1GB)
I tried i Symbian based program to make it run Radio with RDS like K750 but i had no luck, if anyone finds one and make it work succesfully please post here a link...

I had the chance to have it for a few days lately, i have to admit that i was pleased from this phone, its a very good phone overall,
i did underestimated,
the camera is very competitive to SE K750 and Nokia N90.
As features i would prefere the heaviest Nokia around,
for every day use, (mp3,radio,battery,dimensions) the SE wonder.
The only phone i can really compared it with is the Nokia 6680,
N70 looks and works better,
i only had some problems with the overused memory card, but the 6680 feels more solid and reliable, esp the main N70's menu keypad isnt that solid and a couple of weeks later it loosen, make some noise on touch and become imprecise,
the main problem i had with this phone is sharing files over bluetooth (nokias usual problem, they sould copy SE "quickshare" on this
and the many errors on Java games,
N70 supports 60% of K750 's 3D games
and you cannot succesfully uninstall some games, and have to keep them on the memory,
ex the best 3D java game V rally, a 500kb game couldnt run on N70
and couldnt be deleted either
(i dont think the problem was because N70 has lower display resolution than K750
but because of the vodafone menu)
Overall a very good all in one phone for the moment if you dont mind the dimensions
(i prefere the mobile phone not to exceed 100x50x20 mm if it is ment to be "mobile")

N70 rocks dude!
if ya don't like it, don't DARE come2this section.
512 mb works AWESOME. I got 350 mb of songs installed n it rocks!!
If it exits from gallery, make sure u use a "dual voltage card"

Mr. Fourtebuster! i have N70 with 512 MB card in it. It is not slow but it is a bit slow when no mem card is inserted in it. Overall there is no big difference if there is mem card of 512.

To fortebuster: M using a 512mb Card on my Paush N70 for the last 3 mnths & Theres been no Diff or change in speed with or Without it.Its the Best Phone of NOKIA I ever Owned. Better den My previous 6681, 3230, 7610 or 6600>>> GREAT PHONE.
To hamlet:Go To Nokia's Official Site To download the patch software to correct yr problem..Or u can go to yr Nokia Dealer & Upgrade the OS to the Latest symbian Version for FREE.

Hey it seems to b the prob with yr Mem Card Or it must be One file Or Track whic is Corrupt.DO this: Try 2 Backup all yr Mem Card files on the PC. Format the Card & put back the files on it. I hope this wil Work.

get the Overall records of dialled, missed calls, etc. go to My Own>Log>Click on Right Selection Key

Ok U can try This again.Go to My COmputer>Click Tools>Folder Options>View>Now scroll down & Tick Show Hidden Files & Click OK. NOw Format yr New Mem Card. Put yr Original Mem Card in a Card Reader>Open the Mem Card from My Computer>Press Control+A(Select All)& Copy all this Files in a New Folder on the desktop. Once its Copied Remove the Card & Put the New Mem Card in the Reader. Open the new Folder on Desktop>Press Control + A & Copy all the files on the New Mem Card. Thts All!! Insert the card & Start the Phone. BEST OF LUCK

Instal Psiloc.System.Tools. There is an Option in this Software where u can Make a Op. Logo. frm any Pic Or Op. Logo images saved on the Phone.Browse 4 a Blank Gif Image & U will get a Blank Op. Logo

Hi All,
Need help too, I cannot seem to back-up my memory even though I followed the instructions to the letter. When I went to upload my music onto my extra memory, It wouldn't work. I have only managed to get 5 songs on there when I should be able to get 250 ? Can anyone help ? its making me feel very old.

1) I bought my N70 - wonderful - a week ago, but can't find the functions dialled, missed calls, etc.
2) How do you change the font size? Due to old age, and vain enough not to want to put on glasses all the time...

It's important to have ur windows explorer display system and hidden files. Anyhow, try this... at ur memory card, press Ctrl+A to select everything. Paste it to a folder in ur PC... then change card. And from the folder where u paste ur files.... press Ctrl+A again and paste it to the new card. Hopefully u copied all the system and hidden files... if u miss them, ur new card won run properly.

~PhotoRite
~Smart Movie and etc
all software are working perfectly,, but i have problem, when go to gallery >Tracks, after that it will exit ifself (back to previous menu) :-((((

hi!sumbody techy out here? i bought a nokia n70 yesterday and it has free applications like yahoo kodak mobile wuickword etc.and i also bought a 1gb rs-mmc.how do i transfer the applications from my old rs-mmc to my new one.coz i tried to copy paste it thru my pc but its not showing when i inserted the new rs-mmc to my fone.pls...need help badly...tnx

this phone is amazin, it comes standar with ptt technology (unlike luppos L7) and has the best spec available considering the cheap price (handsets around £300, unlike the cheapo SLVR's £120) jus get one please
