The biggest single USP of this fabulous phone, in my opinion, is its extra generous 40MB Resident Memory! You'll realize this only if you have used any other S60 phones - especially whilst gaming - run any game on it and it never crashes for lack of memory. Couple this with a liberal 1GB DVRSMMC and you could have a major part of your music collection along with two or three full-length, smartmovies in your pocket - literally!
Add to this the advantage of built-in FM, the crisp photographs you can shoot with it’s 2 Mega pixel Camera with Flash, and the Video-Conferencing capability (thanks to it’s VGA Camera in front) and you have a unique case where supply outstrips demand!
But trust Nokia to ham it up after all – the OS is as slow as they can get. Trying to access a bloated folder with numerous applications could well hone up your coffee-making skills! Mind you, you could still be in time to catch the folder displaying its contents! Wish Nokia could provide the ubiquitous hour-glass – at least one will know that something is going on in the background.
However, giving the Devil his due, if you have the time, then the N70 definitely has the inclination (sorry Titan)! For there are very few things you cannot do with this mean little machine. Shoot a video at VGA quality, edit your Office documents, fill up your Contacts List to your heart’s content, make movies (or muvees if you like) – the list goes on….
Hey – isn’t this a phone review? Sorry, here goes…. crystal clear sound whilst communicating, fantastic ringtone output, user friendly features like speed dialing & voice commands, innovative features like push-to-talk and EDGE assisted high-speed Net browsing.
Can it cook did you ask? No, it certainly cannot – but shhh… don’t let Nokia hear you; for you could well land up owning one which actually does! SOON!

Nadia, this problem occurs when you dont have the habit of regularly switching your phone off and then ON.

                      Hi

The nokia n70 that all of you'll use are from service providers like orange or are they from shops, and are they using Version
5.0609.2.0.1 1-05-06 RM-84 of firmware since if you're not you all are going to face alot of problems, to check your version number type *#0000# if it is below this version then you're going to get problems so you have to go to a authorised nokia service center to fix this problem hope this helped

                        Tolick

I have had a Nokia N70. I didn't like the phone at all except for the camera.
The disadvantage with N70 is that it gets slow when you install applications & booting up time take a long time however the music player is absolutely rubish coz if u get a call or msg da music dat u listen to goes back to the begining. It doesnt support AAC+ v1.0, AAC+ v2.0, WMA, were as 3250 does n i Would go for the 3250 coz AAC+ v2.0 is da best audio compression saving you loads of space on your 3250. Also 3250 runs on Symbian 9.1 which is 10x better than N70.

                        Hope that helps...

                          Russo

The only way you can make your ringtone ring longer is by turning off any call divert settings & turning your voicemall off...

                          OK...

                              Hi N70 Users,

I am having problem with my mp3, during phone calls or missed calls my music stop and need to press the playlist again to continue my music. Did Nokia make some patches to fix this problem? Do you know the site where to find the patches if third party has able to make one? Also, some mp3 could not be loaded on the playlist even if you already update your mp3 collections.

Hope someone of you guys answer my queries. Tnx, N70 is great!!!

advice-before loading any info onto fone, please make sure u have reliable or latest firmware as the fone without doubt will crash and maybe result in loosing info/data

Msg for tolick, aight mate dont worry ur english is fine, yeah the n70 is a good choice to use as an mp3 player, it has nice features too, the only thing i would advise is that you buy a bigger memory card the 64mb one that comes as standard just isnt enough. i got a 512mb one from my local t-mobile shop,i dont kno how much itl be for you, but it is a worthy investment.obviously read other opinions dont take mine as gospel, but iim %100 happy.

help me pls.Tell me which is the best: N70 or 3250. I like use mobile phone as mp3 player at first of all. Do not consider 3g an advantage because my network dosn't support 3g. I don't like on 3250 video resolution which is just 176 x 144 pixels. Someone have used this 2 phones? Which is the best? The price of 3250 in my country is with 50euro lower than to n70. I use very much the phone for symbian applications.
                                      sorry for my english.
