Please is there any one can answer to my problem. I am using the N70 unit but the battery did not initially charged to 16 hours. Can I charge it to initial charging of 16 Hours even if it is already in use?

Definately i will go to n70. If any one has the problem with slow processor speed of n70. Don't worry, i hav the solution. Just follow these steps. Go to
MENU > LOG > OPTIONS > SETTINGS > LOG DURATION > Now make it 1 day.
Now u will find a magical difference

I've just bought the N70. Had a Qtek before, but it had a very poor battery. The N70 is a great phone. I only needed to use the phone for the agenda, Tom Tom and to make phone calls. It works great.

Erm...only 1 way you can do to speed up your N70,DELETE those useless software and give more spaces for the memory...cause the Ram of N70 not like N90... If the N70 memory status is bigger it will loaded more fast...just same like another hp which using memory card....

This Not a bad phone man...I'm bought it since last 3 days..it does't have any problem..the language system is ok..operating service also...why so much of you complain about it...the Camera and Video software is a bit lousy maybe..but why don't you find another software and install it?the camera is 2 Megapixel for the back 1 but the front is 0.3 ..that's the worst thing...so far,i use it until now ...it haven't give me any problem...the big problem that we need to face when using this phone is...The N70 is still new,so so many old software it can't support....need to wait for new software...that's all

I've had my nokia n70 for 2 weeks now. And yup, I find it really slow :( This phone could have been really GREAT with all the cool features built into it, if not for the slow software.
i wonder if there is any way of speeding it up, a patch or an update maybe?? I dont run multiple programs at all. so if anyone here knows how to speed N70 up, please please tell me :(

I have been using this phone for 2 weeks now and im quite happy.I bought it mostly bcoz im living in a closed area in a south africa and they have no tv coverage here so im taking advantage of 3G to watch my football matches and the phone is very good so far.Camera takes shot like a beauty and itz mp3 iz like listening to a Sony Stereo System TM.As Usual all phones have downfalls n this one's is the crammped keypad making it hard to type for instance instead of LOVE it will become LWVO which is sumtimes annoying.Besides that this fone is to me the best in the market so far !!

@fiona, just press the menu button, go to tools, then setting, then phone, then general, then phone language, enjoy u'r phone

I have just bought an N70 today. BUT I have a problem that the Nokia website is not able to sort out for me today, how do I change the language of the phone? At the moment it is all in Flemmish (I live in Belgium) and I need to have it in English! Unfortunately the instruction manuals are in either French or Flemmish, I don't speak Flemmish so I can't go through the manual to find the equivalent in French! Please, is there anyone out there who can help a poor pathetic creature who really wants to enjoy her new phone?!!!P.S. I have tried searching for the manual in English on Google. Thank you!

n70 doesn't have restrictions,just rename with fileman(dl)sis to sisd or something else

hello every body come to the point now does all the software of nokia 6600 works on this phone also? nokia 6600 has restriction of sharing .sis files nokia dont trust their customers (at time of 7650 there is no restrictions) what other restrictions n70 got?

umm, i have this problem, i'm using a 3G network and the funny thing is that, the phone itself sends messages to other 3G users and i'm kinda surprised! i have to go to my outbox and delete the msgs before it sends to others. umm, and 1 question, can N70 be fitted with a higher memory, say 128MB?

I just bought the Nokia N70, it's not a bad phone - 1.92mp camera, 20x digital zoom, 21mb memory, radio etc...just one prob, I am with 3 in Australia and whenever I hold "Hang Up" for 3 seconds, it ends a packet data connection with the 3G network (Broken lines underneath the little 3G on the top left), then a few minutes later, it reconnects again, and this drains battery life. If it didn't create another packet data connection, the battery life would be so much better. If anyone on 3 in Australia has the same prob, please leave a msg here and a solution maybe. Thanks. Overall, good phone.

Call *#7370# to format it
(Note : You need to have full battery or plug your phone into a AC Plug before you format it ! or else it will crash

The video camera also crashed when i use it , it says "Hardware Failure Please Restart Camera" . It's Because there's a folder in the videos where u cannot delete , otherwise it will crash .
The only way to fix it is to Format the Phone using a code .
