Yes, that's the one we are toking bout....The metallic like hole at the top. Anyway, suddenly there's so much crap bout N70, wad N80, N71, N70i. Wonder if all is really true...Anyway, keep look out...

We see the light sensor at the top left, but i think the hole in question is the one that is on the very top middle - which you can't really see from these photos.

I want this fone, but I am worried about the camera, sure it has 2.0 megapixel, but it also says 20x DIGITAL zoom , now when you use digital zoom the pictures become all pixelated, where as optimal zoom they wont.
Anyone who can tell me that the digital zoom pictures do not become distorted plz do, I would much appreciate it

Hey, you guys heard bout the nokia N80? It doesn't look cool, but it's rumoured to have a 3 megapix cam. And it is rumoured to have all specs of N70 plus more. But it doesn't have to application key...Could you guys find out more...Websites are not very help ful...I hope it's true..Only rumour...

I've heard of a Nokia N71 it's quite similar to the N70 but has no 2nd camera similar to the 6680/6681..

Hey Jay, i'm really sorry, i went to check out the hole at the top, and i saw the same thing u did...maybe it can really fit a 3.5mm headphone jack...Well, i hope...

Eer, no, it can't.that hole you see beside the model no. is the light sensor.

Anyone know if it has a mini stereo jack for the headsets or will it use the stupid pop-port headset from Nokia? I can see a hole on the top of the phone.. wonder what is that for...

yes i agree that it is one of the most complete phones that will soon be available, and vanilla does just mean sim free, and i can confirm that someone else also said that being released on 19th, and being vodafone, they are prompt with release dates normally, this should be released that possibly means along with d600.

Nokia N70 is very handy mobile,hanset gripping to good, feature are to good as compare to sony eriscson k700i, but one negative thing, who is no infrared port,bluetooth is also in mobile, back shape is to good like luxury mobile, everything in this mobile. I thing is a complete mobile in this market. I also wait this mobile. because I like Nokia, In mobile world only one name, that is called NOKIA.

to johnny infrared is cool if u download the psyloc remote controll then u can operate your media systems with ur phone ,ive tried it it works

Found out what Vanilla Device means it basically means its not branded un like the Vodafone Live phones.

big tip:n70 have the same high quality video recording (352x288 pixel,15 fps)and same soft as n90!!! it don't have autofocus and hr lcd of n90.it's interesting that nokia never mentioned until now about the cif video rec. of n70.i have a sales guide,internal training material for nokia sales man,where i've read this stuff.

The Nokia N70 is launching as Vanilla device on 19th September 2005. Does anybody know what that means. The Vodafone Live! version will be launching mid October 2005.
