To Raptor: That is not difficult, the N70 has got a better camera than the 6680, 2MP and carl Zeiss optical, and is much better per rapport to the quality...

Is this phone going to be big? It looks though like very big and bulky, and if i bring it to school and put inside my pocket, it will be discovered very easily.
Well, i like the 2MP camera. but with sony k750i, i am still considering. when it comes out, hope that the price of this will let me determine which to buy :)

This mobile seems to be A-1 not to mention that this is from Nokia. See, from previous models of Nokia (5510) and Ericsson - at that time (G628) which I had many years ago, I now have SE k500i and Nokia 6260, I had a chance to compare Nokia and Sony Ericsson mobile phones which I had before and when it comes to keying response, opening an application, etc. It seems to me that Nokia is at par than Sony Ericsson. As a user, we are basically after the fast response of the mobile and in some cases like you have to call or to browse some data or make use of other features of the phone simultaneously. We buy mobile phones to make advantage of it features as far as using it's camera, video, radio, wifi, conferencing, infra, bluetooth, etc. capabilities but one factor we should consider is how well the unit can handle or respond to your needs at a time. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you will agree with me that Sony Ericsson has got more lag time than Nokia. So, I would rather choose Nokia, than Sony Ericsson. ---but why do I have SE k500i? uhmm who cares? Actually i'm selling it now... ehehehe...
Peace 'yo all!

I have no idea how you all can compair colors, sound, or whatever when you can't even see this phone in person yet. And if you own none of the other phones you guys are compairing it to, your opinions means nothing. The ONLY assumptions that I can comment on is that this is a Smartphone, which in my mind is your best bet because you can have the phone do what you want. You don't like the phone book, change it! You don't like the calander, you have 100's of others to choose from. Hate the music player that comes with it, get another one! This is the major difference that I CAN say that's greater then the SE phones mentioned which forces users to use their own software. So unless you have this phone in your hands, including other phones you're all compairing to, don't comment on the quality of the LCD, sound, camera, etc, you have nothing to back it up!

hey guys......... :):D
honestly the Sonyericcson K750i nd W800i is a hell lot better than this nokia ... colors , camera's ,mp3 everything but the only and the most important thing that Nokia is better than Sonyericsson is :Nokia as a mobile , its a heavy duty mobile , any program on the net works on it , also alot less freezing occurs for Nokia ...so all in all if u want a last longing mobile go for Nokia , if u want a rocking mobile with great camera , mp3 ..etc go for sonyericsson

I know people have been comparing it to the W800i etc. ... but Coming to the very basics, a good cell phone should be the one, which has powerful signals even in the midst where others don't work! I personally believe that nokia is better in this regard...
Of course, the best is always expensive :)
Here is a conclusion that i am pasting from the mobilereview.com
"The Nokia N70 is at a high level considering the reception that is typical of the Nokia smartphones. The signal is loud and hard to miss in a noisy street; one of the following file formats can be used for a call signal: MIDI (64-tones polyphony), AMR (NB-AMR), True Tones (WB-AMR), WAV, MP3, AAC, eAAC+. The vibracall is average in power.
Now the Nokia N70 is the best smartphone without a touchscreen, no direct rivals. Only the HTC Typhoon can act as indirect rival (and new models that are to launch this summer), it is smaller, lighter, with longer battery life, but having a weaker radio-component and Bluetooth is worse realized. Direct comparison is incorrect since the devices are based on different platforms."

Sony Ericsson is London based company, production in Asia and Sweden but as I know engineers are mainly from Sweden (previous Ericsson), Sony is mostly producer of cameras and TV.

This is a HUGE 3G phone, just compare it to the size of the SE K600i (SE already can produce small & slim 3G phone).......... Nokia just do not have the technology of Sony (Finn tech vs. Jap tech in this case) .......... Japanese are still the best in electronic things !

Hi i've had a 6230 sold it? had 6630 then sold it, then the 3230 then sold it,now don't get me wrong they are all nice phones but they all have the same problem? when you go in to the menu to look at you messages or use the camera icons etc the picture look like they have been drawn by a 5 year old? all flat and single colours? just look at the k700i (a least a year old) and the new k750 or the d500 etc there menus are all 3d and animated? why are nokia so backward? no thought gone in to it what so ever? now you might think so what? but look at it this way? if they don't spend the time and effort on making the use and looks of the phone any good? were else are they cutting corners on? if they are just not botherd doing the simple things how can you trust them to sort out the rest of the phone in the proper way? thats why i'm worried about getting the n70? i know it will work fine and has every button and bell on it you could want (blue tooth, radio etc) but looks like a 4 year old phone when using it? so going to get it when it comes out? but if its like that,i'm going to send it back before the 2 week grace period is up and have the k750i which i recon will be a much sleeker phone? unless some one can tell me other wise?

I prefer Nokia. Ive never settled for anything better than the best. Besides I have played around with some of my friends SE and Samsung and allways found issues with them. Sharp was the only company I have actually used besides Nokia and I wasnt dissapointed with it.

i heard that n70 will a bit lag due to it has the same processor as 6680 but WITH 2MP of camera. So as theory it will be lag... can someone verify it?
