the music mp3 quality is not as loud or clear as 3230 or that twist phone.. i haven't tried the ACC file as my ringtone tho but mp3 yea.. i don have any hearing problem but to me, if i play it to level 7 or 8, then it'll b ok.. sumting wrong wif my speaker?
n one more thing.. no links for the symbian downloads? or java applications which is applicable for this fon? i'm itching to sell this fon if there's still not symbian ware which is applicable..

the model is really nice..and it looks complete on fitures.
but umm..i'm curious bout its audio player?? does it sound nice?? coz i ever bought nokia 3230 that's advertised as Music Phone, but it sucks! so if the audio player of N71 was cool, I'd buy it!

I want to know what kind of symbian nokia n91 have? v9 like N91, N80 or v8 like n70...?

ive been eyeing for this phone since last week-and i finally bought one yesterday! It has everything on it, tnaks nokia...Now my only concern: I hope it wont depreciate easily! Knowing Nokia phones they easily upgrade models.....Its nice if it stays in the market with that fixed price for a while so that it wont come out common or passe....Thanks..

i have tried downloading themes from both mobile9 and zedge, eventhough it says they're themes for N71, but it is unsupported when tried to download/install, it says sis files unsupported. any ideas guys?

Most does not mean all. Samsung, Panasonic, Siemens, and Sendo also have S60 phones. I'd say that's not quite proprietary. If you go beyond S60, many SE phones use S90 for their PDA style phones. So like I said, Symbian > all proprietary OS :)

if seen from point of view that most phone that uses Symbian is only Nokia, can it be called a propietary OS also ?

Only way to support .sis files is with Symbian Smart phones... SE are just a bunch of "dumb" phones. In other words Symbian > all proprietary OS (if you can even call them real OS's).

Sony Ericsson phones provide a talk time of 7hrs plus.The audio quality of the walkman series is better than any NOKIA phone.The only problem with Sony Ericsson is is does not support .sis files.

i think the nokia N71-1 would be great if debranded. nokia have to many restrictions. and the (i think its called) 3rd party apps should be testet more before they sell it! that cool 3d snake game looks so great.. until it freezes.. it makes me mad when it does that.. i have to take out the batt. to be able to use the phone..

This is the best Phone Looks are WOW and different 2mp cam is working well I like the shape of this phone and it is tough phone .
