    to civilized beast,,ive looked at a few places who say the n91 is only qcif but if youve had the device & its cif i cant argue..the n91 still had the 176 x 208 regular nokia standard res screen & was also put off with people on about the hdd so settled on this one(n71) & only not bought it yet as the 10 mb internal memory cud be a struggle as it was with my 6680+6630 they only had 10 mb internal memory.I am using s/e w900i at moment & its getting awkward with its size(bulk) & video altho 30 frames per second is very speckly & banding type effects due to its 3gp format.THE n93 is what i really want but thinking about the w900i & the n93 weight i think ill go for this n71..All people i know & mates etc hate the look of the phone so i will be the only person in my group with one BUT there again i like clamshells

        @kenny
        both n91 and n71 have cif video recording. . And n91's videos are much clearer than n80's. . I had n91 but due to its hdd problems i opted for n80. .

                  to john: 1) nice sound quality, but some handsets have better. 2) it's about 234kbps.
                  answered? I hope so. it's an amazing phone, the best I ever had until now. I'm getting money to get a Nokia E70. so much better! but so much expensive too ¬¬"

                    n91 has only qcif video recording in silly 3gp format...n71 has 4 x resolution video recording in the better mp4 format at cif resolution..some may think that it has twice the resolution but it is 4x if you actually draw it out qcif will fit 4x into a cif resolution..hence qcif(quarter cif).sounds complex but its correct so n71 has superior video recording compared to n91 & n91 is more music orientated

                        I’ve just bought it!!!!!! Excellent! Best phone ever!
                        Stable & fast software – brilliant display - very good camera (image & video) – loud music player – Very good radio – easy communication with pc suite – etc.
                        Highly recommended for those who like clamshells!! I used to have candybar phones and now I am very happy with my choice! Don’t wait any more! Buy it!!!!

                            @ koko

                            in manila, philippines, n71 costs from Php25,000 to 27,000 with one-year warranty, open line or unlocked

                            i am still thinking if i am going to buy this or wait for the n93 which will be launched july, or i guess i will have both

                              Need your opinion - 6125 or N71 ? Wiil I survive in the US with just 900/1800/1900 frequency bands ? Or should I go for the quad band but non symbian 6125 with the poorer screen etc ?

                                      the new range of nokia phones symbian does not support older symbian application hence the old themes will not work for the new range
