Am havng this ph for the last 4 months, very good n beautiful 1. I wld like to know how can we remove the menus from the 1st screen(those 6 icons:contacts,new txt msg,calendr,galery,music player) so that we can able to see the wallpaper clearly.

It's a multimedia phone, they all have such battery life. If I use my n72 often it holds 2-3 days, but I make calls rarely. And taking pictures at night is useless on any phone, the "night mode" doesn't do much.
To janet:
Well nothing happens by itself, only way is to reinstall sowtware or use special programs to decrease the font size, but i don't know any.

If you experience a memory card fault, then simply format the card (all the programs and documents inside will be gone, so back up). If it's a phone memory fault, then i suggest taking it back, so they reinstall software or change the phone.
To danish:
7710 and n72 are too different phones to compare i think, it simply depends on your needs, because 7710 is more like an internet tablet. If you want a purely multimedia device, like more of a toy, where you can watch movies, browse the net, then 7710 I guess. I said about the sound quality several times, read through the comments. Speaker - average, headphones - quite good.

How fast ? Battery should run out in ~2 days on normal use. If you call often, then maybe 1.5 .

its a very good phone,its features r good and its easy to use,i'm using it n i dnt have any complains abt it.camera could have been a little better bt if u want a great camera u should buy a canon digital cam rather than a multimedia phone. cheers!!!

have been using it for a week only.its slow. one qstn,,the camera pics,,videos and those video and pics transfered from m\y computer are all stored in "images and video folder".. there is no option to create a new folder there or to move personal files and viddeos to menu or any other folder...can anyone help me with this matter..is any software available to create new folder or to lock pics and viddeeos...please helllp.. my email robin3016@yahoo.co.in

i'm using the N72 phone, but a week after i bought the phone developed a memory fault.
no messages in the phone but always telling there is a 18M messages store in it.
what can i do

Phone brill but for some reason the font size has changed and gone to small writing any idea how i can get it larger or why this has happened

It's a very good phone except for the fact it's Battery Life sucks. Mine one goes for around 1.5 days with 30 min. of Avg Talking. Bundled Memory Card in my opinion was Problematic. When I inserted a Kingston 1GB RS-DV MMC Card, the problem of hanging got solved. Don't install much applications if you want your Phone to be fast, otherwise putting Songs, Video Clips or Pictures doesn't slows down your phone as they aren't installed. Pic. in the night mode aren't up to the mark even with flash, it this case SE Phones scores over Nokia Phones speacially with their Powerful LEDs in Walkman Phones or Xenon Flash in Cybershot Phones. The Video Quality is much better as it records in MP4 Quality, the main advantage is Symbian OS 8.1

wel i hav ths phone for over 6months now(pink version). and frm my opinion, its pretty slow compared to my 7610 w.c is 2years old now. idk y, bt i lyk using the 7610 thn the n72. id sell the n72 in a heartbeat. hu wants one? lol

I don't experience any problems using n72. The only problems are the fingerprints all over the phone, and a bit too loose lens cover.
It's cheap, because it doesn't have a 3mpx camera or 3g. It also has a bit smaller resolution screen, older Symbian version. And i doubt it's cheaper than 6680, because it's crap. If it is, then it's because of 3g.

Wtf ? abt d mb ? mb ? You mean internal phone memory ? There is 22mb i think. Also a 128mb card in the package.
To saad:
Phones are alike. I don't like 3250 because it's square and ugly. I also hate that rubic thing that has keyboard on one side and player buttons on other. If it's 3250XM, then it probably has better music quality. But for the camera, i think n72 has a better one. 3250 has a newer Symbian version, but theres not much difference between them anyways.In my personal opinion n72 is better, mostly because i don't like 3250. Well simply the phones are very alike, theres no big difference between them.
To Anon:
This question was answered several times, and it was just a few posts ago twice. The max capacity is 1gb. 2gb might also work, but according to Nokia maximum is 1gb.

Some people say that the N72 can run a 2gb memory and others say that 1gb is max. Can anyone verify what the maximum memory capacity for the N72 is?

i have n72 for 5months and its easy to use and im very comfortable using it.
