And as someone said, the little blue sensor light thing is horrifyingly annoying lol xD

By far one of the sturdiest phones I've ever used. It's survived all 3 of the Mumbai floods and more. It just refuses to get damaged! :D
It has an amazing camera, decent memory and a good overall layout. I haven't ever faced any hardware issues (apart from the regular service that is needed about once a year or so to replace damaged buttons and all).
As for the firmware, unfortunately, it sucks. It is practically LOADED with bugs. There's a camera bug, an outgoing call bug, a GPRS bug, memory bug and hundreds more. The joystick and number 2 key gives you quite some problems in the later months and need to be replaced. The only major hardware issue is the headset cable connector thing. It's quite flimsy and can be a pain at times.
If at all you decide to buy this phone, by all means go for it. But just make sure you don't buy a second hand or something. Be sure to get extended warranty because you will be making quite a lot of trips to Nokia Care after the first 4~6 months.
Apart from that, it is an AMAZING phone. It's dead slow and all, but for something like 13 odd grand, it's worth it (specially if you are a Nokia endorsee like me! ;]). It has amazing sound, supports a barrage of video formats and has quite a speedy GPRS. Not toforget, the cool battery life. Apart from quite a few software issues, this phone has never troubled me.
It's one of the best phones you can buy (if you have the nerve to bear it). I give it an 8/10.

It is an amazing phone. It has every thing in it except WLAN.It is realy the bestiest phone of nokia.

i have used nokia n 73 for more thn 6 months.It is the worst fone ever used.Its music quality really sucks.Cheap looks and very very slow processing.Realy nokia sucks

"lifeblog" ruins this phone. cant uninstall or disable it. cant install software, power tripping developers. I will not buy nokia again.

It's not a very good phone - the phone gets very slow and freezes if you dont do a software update atleast once every second month, the buttons are uncomfortably small and most of the time I have difficulty unlocking the keypad - the buttons dont always function the way they should and the phone has a irritating little blue sensor light that gets annoying, especially at night time, the battery life isnt too bad, i charge my phone once every 4 or 5 days, the camera quality is very nice and clear and over all its a reliable phone but for the price of this handset you can get something much better - the price at the moment for the Nokia N73 in South Africa is R3,500!
