well, all pepz, that have many questions, and concerns! This is an allright/good phone, of N-series nokia! wich is Symbian OS enabled. Yes you can install app's like a java, .sis and .sisx. those who failed- try to look harder for the working app's. Camera is very good(don't forget this phone is on the market for more than 1.5 years. so 3.15 MP is more than good for such old phone! (remember - technology speed/parameters/spec's doubles every 1.5 years while the prie remains on the same level-moore's law)yes you can play music, and when someone calls- music mutes and resumes after hangup. also the buttons of keypad-joystic are programmable for certain function! and personally i have installed a few themes, blueradar, answering machine, and few other apps, so i DO use all features in full! Fortunatelly this phone now cost roughly $ 275 USD, while ever- a long time ago i've paid roughly 850 USD for it(when it came out in europe) Well i was also a proud owner of N80, (two of them, one stolen one drowned) well, i liked n80 a little more except the VERY poor battery life, i used to carry 2-3 EXTRA batteries w/me, since after active(music, apps, wifi, sms/mms, camera) usage of N80 the battery lasts a few hours! Although the camera of N73 is Better due to autofocus! design wise- personally i do not like Bar phones, but hey.. .it's still a N series unit!

the benchmarks being software(specially),hardware(speed)and ergonomics.
plz suggest if the rotating mechanism will last long or not, in 5700.

I am going to tell out an interesting issue among the n Series devices and probably no body will let me know the solution.
I would like to get chinese language pack to be installed on this device by using euro 1 product code. Can this be done? because as far as i know euro firmware can disable the flash status and the camera shutter sounds while asia pacific cannot.
Thanks if some experts can help me out. But i dont think it can be done.

For those who upgraded their phone to the latest firmware, you may notice that the phone memory and application ram was consumed a lot. You may recover some by uninstalling unnecessary applications included on the firmware especially the Search Application which consumed a lot of memory and RAM. When uninstalling Search, don't forget to remove all of it's plugin using app manager. I upgraded my friend's phone and no bugs found yet. The update fixed a lot of issues and made the phone more responsive. The firmware is 4.0812.4.2.1.

1st of all i must tell you that i'm a mobile phone technician.and i have a lot of expeirience on nokia N73.
This is a comparatively good 4n.it has a good camara,good flasher,big display,and a user friendly keypad.
Everybody knw that this s a gd 4n.so i'm nt goin 2 tel t again.bt i would like 2 tel some odd things abt t.
1.though it WAS a good 4n,4 2day,its ram is nt enough.its ram s very very low.
2.it contains some sware problems.mainly the music player in music edition.sometimes it doesnt refresh,
some times its camera doesnt work.though da lense cover s open,camer doesn't work.by restarting,u cn repair it.
In Some 73's ,clock had 2 corectd each an every time u restart.
3.the other main disadvantage is its joystick.in this 4n after the joystick is broken,u cant buy a seperate joystick.it coms with the total ribbon set.that wil cost u a lot.
4.camera,its camara is exelent.bt it eats the battery.
Hw ever i dnt tel u dat n73 is bad.its a good creation.bt..no phone s perfect.likewise 73 to has bad features.

it,s great,i own N73-1 yestday(italia),
but experiencing camera problem on vdo mode.
when recording vdo(at mp4),find out that frame rate is not smooth,feeling like pause & play in every 1.5 sec...
N73 guys pls help me to know..does it problem or normal?

babak, 18 Aug 2008hi.my N73 have nokia maps softwear Can I install navigation... morelook when u restart ur phone most of the battery is utilized for switching it on. so switch off ur phone only once or twice a week.n73 has practically a battery life of 1 day when kept unused....sia
