Nomhle..., 03 Jul 2008Please help me I desperately need the answer... How do I... moreto turn on ya startup tone u hav to switch on "WARNING TONES" in ya selected profile. Go to Menu, Tools, Profiles, select the active profile or the profile dat is in use & choose Personalise. scroll down to WARNING TONES & choose "on". now your startup tone is also on as wel as ya games, applications & other sounds dat do not hav menu entries/options.

I am using internat in hand set. Browing speed and downloading speed are so good but when i connect with PC both being found slow. What is the problem? I could not define it. FYI- I use internate with data cable and mobile operator is Oracom Telecom Holding (Banglalink). plz help

My phone N73M automatically restarts after every 2-3 hours. Sometimes,while using it suddenly it hangs for 15-20 sec. and restarts. What's the problem?? Help me ...plz...

guys I've been using n73 since a year now
its totally an awesome cell phone
excellent sound quality
good pics frm 3.2 mega pixel cam
&^ most importantly
its symbian!!!

Bhekani, 29 Jun 2008N73 is a good phone but the fact that I have to keep on set... moreIf you set a wallpaper on full screen it will def. destroy the look of the theme.Just think that u r going to menu and have applied the best theme(my one is ghost rider theme)and you put ur wallpaper and then go in menu the whole thing looks good for you but others will say that this is not good looking from no where

going on to my comment for this phone... i absolutely love it. before i bought this phone, i was using an n93 which is supposed to have all the exact same features of this phone plus wifi. when i decided to downgrade to the n73, i was so hesitant to let go of my n93 and seriously, that phone just has that manly- tech factor and it's an absolutely all-in-one feature phone. but one use of the n73's camera... hands down, i let go of my n93 and bought the n73. why? image clarity, no noise, sharpness and vibrance of colors... and the n93 is supposed to have the same 3.2 mp autofocus camera yet photo quality-wise the n73 wins.
it just takes a while to get used to the keypad and yeah, keys are awfully close together... but nevertheless this phone is much faster, much sleeker, and much user-friendly compared to the n93. i believe this phone will be with me for quite a while and so far the only nokia phone that has come close to this (of which i was able to try) is the n95. my only complaint... just like all really good nokia models that come out, why does china have to ruin it by imitating and copying the exact same phone but of course with less features? it's so frustrating to see someone using an n73... then looking closer it's not really an n73 but a china replica. grr... those models just make me wanna... i dunno anymore...

for jason... that's easy, go to contacts - click on settings - then click on name display. change it to first name- last name and that's it. ^^,

Hie.
Problem:
1. Bluetooth does not switch on.
2. It can not read memory card (which is inserted properly), though the memory card can be read by other phones.
Help will be appreciated.

Hi all..
I bought a N73 few days ago..In my message inbox received sms's are shown as "Last name, First name" format. how do i change it to "First, Last" format.
Its already in that(first,last) format in my contact list.
Hope you guys help me..

Hi, i have this encounter with my N73 ME yesterday.. im looking at my gallery then my phone suddenly restart, and when it open all my files are gone!! the music,pictures and etc! also my themes! its all back to normal settings! can anyone please tell me what happen?

the phone is amazing with best camera in the business n great design but only lack wi-fi overall among best of n series phone

This is a good phone. Great camera, especially video capturing. Music player is reasnobally good, there are better music phones on the market though. Nice clear large screen, has great battery life especially for a 3g device like this. Internet browsing is brilliant. However, this is far from perfect. Its menu system was quite complicated to get used to at first, and ive never really had a problem with this with other phones ive had used before. The call earpiece volume on maximum is lower than what i am used to. Also, getting the memory card in and out of the phone is fiddly and complicated.
The other 2 issues i have with the phone could be solved by other peoples knowledge about the phone, so i will ask in question form.
1. The network light. Can this be turned off as it is annoying at night?
2. Is the only way to lock the phones keypad pressing the on/off switch and selecting lock keypad. Is there a setting to automatically lock the keypad after a short while?
Apart from these issues i have with the phone, i really like it. I have owned a sony ericsson k800 before, and to be honest its difficult to say which one is better overall. k800 has better stills photography, n73 has better video capture. K800 is a lot more user friendly but n73 has many other different functions like document viewer, adobe pdf viewer and a better web browser and display. Music quality is roughly the same on both phones. Therefore, i am a fan of both of them, and im glad i own the nokia n73 now.

the nokia n73 is an amazing phone, the quility of the pictures taken with the camera are outstanding and beat most other 3.2 mp camera phones by miles. The phone also looks great and the cover over the lens of the camera is a great feature. An all around great phone
