Can we put N73 simple edition casing to N73 Music Edition bcoz simple edition casing has good variety of colors but Music Editon casing is only in black color.

audio


well superior sound ! unrivaled in its class!! 3 sterio speakers (or 2 )

but i have heard comments that the phone lacks sound quality !! that is not true , cause those who are spreading the rumors mite of heard a low bitrate song , or perhaps they left the loudenss option "on " . that can hamper the quality . bt to tell you , it's quiet a shocker !! gr8 sound !!

and there are options in the music edition to turn on "sterio widening" on /off !!

and plus you can add 3d effect to your ringtones with the build in application that lets you control the way the ringtone sounds :) .

and some say the head phones are weak , well not exactly !! they are really of high quality , and the problem is the head phones dosnt provide that much loudness !!


well the real power of the head phones can be heard if you turn the media player on while on a call , the sound doubles the maximum !!! :) .
i dont know how , but i am searching for a way to do that without making a call :p !! ill let you know whn i find something :).

for the sound i rate it a 9/10 .

speed

the phone runs on a (symbian os 9.1, s60 3rd edition) operating system so technically speaking the phone itself is a computer !!
well it has
64 mb of ram !
42 mbs of internal memory and
arm 9 220 mhz processor

some say that the phone is really slow ,

but not true , people who used java phones in the past might think its slow ,
but friends , its not , you make it slow by adding alot of applications in it , the phone is not slow , you make it slow , so just blame yourslef and not the phone .
and friends you can store unlimited numbers /contacts / messages on the phone , and like normal phones it dosnt ask you to delete them .

some people says the phone hangs , it never hung when i was using it ,

it has a much faster os .. symian s60 3rd edition is much faster than its brothers !

i rate it a 7/10 for its performance and speed .

styling

well good looking phone , i am not saying it has looks to kill for but above average looks . well it compensates for its looks with its stunning features .

the keypad on the phone is really small . not too small , but you cant get that speed while tying a message cause u tend to press more dan a key at a time .
i dont understand why nokia left a small gap between the screen and the keypad , why didnt they increase the screen size or the keypad ! instead they left it open as free space . err ..

pretty much nothing else to talk about the stlye of the phone , and its not that bulky as u c in pictures ,it looks fat :p .. hehe !!!

well i rate it a 6/10 for stlye .

connectivity

the phone offers a wide range of ways to send / recive data .

bluetooth : the bluetooth adapter on the phone has the latest firmware . so its pretty darn fast ! you can even use the phone in "remote sim mode"

infrared : the infrared on the phone is fast for data transfer , the port in located on the side of the phone , but there is this small problem , the infrared can only be turned on , it cannot be turned off .there is no such option . if u click on the infrared option , it turns on , and if u click it again , it says " infrared already on " . i think nokia turns the infrared of by iteslf after some idle time , and because of the huge amount of juice in the battery . it wont matter if u leave it on for a while :) .
usb port : they provide the data cable along with the phone !!

and unlike the sonyericsson datacables nokia cables wont break easily . its stays rock hard cause its supported by a metalic coat ! the usb on the other hand is a safe mode of transferring data ! and stable 1 too :) . with a pc that is .

for connectivity the phone gets a 9/10 rating


well that ends my review
let me end it off with the advantages and disadvantages i found in order !!

disadvantages


1. the phone has a screen guard that protects it from scratch , but the screen guard itself gets scrated giving it a bad appearence , the screen guard is undetectable untill and unless you look close . so every1 thinks u scratched the screen
2. the camera cover forces the camera panel to get scratched !!!
3. bad flash , not good for taking videos at night
4. the sound recorded records only 1 minute of sound , den saves it , :(.so pretty much useless
5. the keypad is too small !

advantages

i baught it for 13000 in june 2008 in india !!! the price wont come down that easily for this royal phone !!


it is considord the best of n series by some , but that changed when the nokia n95 8gb was introduced in the market !
but still it tops the n series list of good phones n95 , n82 , n73m ,n73 n70 m , n70

the phone comes in with a wooping 2 gb memory card !!kewl !!

Its pretty buggy and slow tbh. Menus would constantly freeze or lag when opening and so would applications. The phone seemed to have been cheaped out on something like ram or processor and couldnt cope under load

Even other phone makers are adopting symbian operating system. And to think these phone users saying and cursing N73 for being slow ad buggy. Do u hear them now postings here abt their phone using symbian system.

So JUSTIFY your statement.

Im using the MUSIC EDITION.
-Great phone although it doesn't have the fastest processor. A same phone with more memory and a fast processor leaving everything as they are would have made it the best NSeries Phone!
-The best speakers after n91 8GB! Louder than N82 and N95 8gb!
-Good camera as well though the flash is not strong during the night, but don't forget it's not a digital camera but a phone. Picture is really good during the day. I used it mainly to picture documents instead of scanning them.
-To test for a good camera, don't look at megapixels but the quality. BET ON QUALITY AND NOT QUANTITY. Megapixel is how large the picture is, in simple words without going in details.
-Very stable Phone! Signal better than that of n95 8gb! No crap! I believe it is the phone which Nokia worked more on.
-Good battery life!
-If you see that the phone lacks memory, download Handy Taskman and kill uneeded process! n82 and n958gb has more memory cuz of the software loaded in there and lot of processes!
-The latest Firmware, when see that the phone goes out of memory, will free memory.
-I text very often. Hate sliding phones! Imagine how many times should I slide the phone during the day!! One day, it will get loose or break!!! 99% of the n958gb usage requires sliding of the phone.
-Some may say that n78 is the successor, but it's not the case. No IRDA first of all. Heard that it is slow and has buggy firmware! Keypad not handy!! Short battery life. Quite disapointing. I would have bought it.
-2gb (Maximum) space on card. n95-8gb mass storage slow! Try transfering 3gb to and from PC, you will see! You can sleep a bit before it completes. Take a picture on n958gb, you'll see that saving picture in phone memory is faster than that on saving on the mass storage.

ok so the phone is slow but i got the cure....there is a program called hady taskman...its a task manager like at windows...with hin you will refresh your RAM and you will stop the apllications you dont want

i have a n73me its good nice cp complete features, mine is working normally,i regret cause i do not use those features on it to bought this expensive phone, of course we exprnce the use af cp,ask urself can i used those featurs? am i a photogrphr to use such a hi megapx? did i search to the internt frquntly? why dont go to i-net cafe,do i need wi-fi? d most importnt thing is how u use it comfortably even on txting typing on keypad most new model expensive cp keypad r too narrow hate to type on it,r u a music lover why dont listen to a stereo at home only 4 wasting ur batt,dont buy a hi price cp if u dont use d said features only for wasting a little money, be wise folks choose only cp with the kind of how u use it,you can choose good looking cp even thers no much features on it,do u use wi-fi? no, why do you buy such a hi price phone,do u save ur picture and print them? no, why do u buy a hi mega pxel cp. i suggest not to buy those hi price cp if you dont used freqntly those features. better to choose a good looking impressive cp, comfortable to type on keypad, big lettrs on disply and a clear picture to see only on d screen disply of course ur not supposed to transfer them on computer, more features more prblems more complain, beleive mo folks...thats d truth.

I'm one of the n73 user, this phone complimentary that is a very nice phone n good mp camera. sad to say that when the memory is full that things are so slow n cant work well. when comes to camera where this phone can perform during day time but at night the pics qualities is bad n many noise.
