i really want to buy this cellphone but here i my country (Brazil) this is very expensive yet...here is about 850 to 1099$...very expensive for all the ppl here :(...im planning to buy it with an international credit card...then i can pay cheaper than it cost here in Brazil...i think i can try to do it...but first i want your opinions guys...what u think about it????

if you face errors when installing themes, set dates 1 mth, or even 1 yr before, go to appz mgr, under settings, cert check off, and software installation set to all.

this phone has a good physical design, but the problem is when accessing the menu and other feature the phone got slowly and sometimes got hung!!!

it is one of the best phones, i've ever had!
it is kinda on the heavier side, but its features are really good!! the speakers are amazing and the themes are very good too!!
2 gb memory comes with the phone! that is awesome

guys if you're still undecided weather to buy N73 or not, i would advice you to wait a little longer for the release of N78. it has all the N73 goodies..plus..GPS, HSPDA, WLAN and that stereo speaker that we've always love. i think it's worth the wait

Does anyone know how to find a nokia N73ME made by nokia, not a chinese brand. Sometimes internet does not show it well. Does anyone have any sites I can go to and buy, or anyone who has bought this phone off of some site that actually sell the actual Nokia N73ME

I have used this phone for 6 months now.. in my opinion this phone is "OK". Nothing great about this phone. I am not satisfied with the looks of the Phone.. somethimes it becomes very slow. pic quality is good only for daytime .. dont think of clicking pics in the night with N73. Flash is useless. What I disliked most in this phone is its volume. I attached BOSE headphones along with it.. still the sound was very less.. even at full volume.
I tried riding my bike with this phone volume of the headphones was so less that I couldnt hear anything apart from noise on the road. that too when I was wearing a tight Helmet..
I would say there are better options available in the market in this price range..

Comments on some queries raised
N73 or P990i?
P990i has following key advantages over N73:
- Touch screen
- WiFi
- QWERTY keyboard
My advice is that if you do not consider the above to be essential for you just go for N73 which is superior to P990i in almost all other aspects.
N73 or 6120?
Significant advantages of 6120 over N73:
- HSDPA High Speed Connectivity (6120 is 3.5G whereas N73 is only 3G)
- Compact size
- Newer OS - S60 9.2
- Faster processor (6120 has 369Mhz processor while N73 has 208Mhz)
N73 is far better in most of other features especially in camera and music capabilities and the other thing is that 6120 has significantly less battery life.
Made in Finland or Made by Nokia?
“Made by Nokia” is apparently seen when the phone is assembled in Asian countries.
But as per Nokia any Nokia phone should be of the same quality irrespective of the country of assembly.
Theme installation problem
Make sure you downloaded Symbian S60 3rd Edition themes.
A2DP with N73
Originally N73 didn’t support A2DP but later firmware updates enabled this feature. Make sure you have latest firmware.

Record calls on N73
You can use the inbuilt recorder to record calls; but it will give the beep tone every five seconds allowing the other party to know that you are recording. But there are many 3rd party software that can record calls without beep sound; Some of the famous are:

Use flash in full brightness as a Torch
Well there is no software , as far as I know, to do that; this is because flash is not designed to light for long time and if you do it is likely you get your flash burnt due to high level of heat it generates.
Full Screen Wallpapers on N73
This is not possible on symbian S60 unless you make a theme with a particular picture as the wallpaper. However making a theme is not so difficult.
You don’t even need a computer or any web site. All you need is your Nokia N73 and a freely downloadable application called Theme DIY (Do It Yourself).
