I have had the N73 for nearly 18 months now. Since Aug 2006 I have had the plum and silver colour and it had to be sent to fixed 3 times.
Got the Music Edition in OCT 2007 as a replacement and that has been sent away twice to be fixed. Just got it back last week from it's last repair and seems to be working ok!
The handset was always turning off and when I was walking quickly or had to run with the phone in my pocket it would turn of (it's not doing that anymore) also it would randomly turn off.
The only thing I'm not happy about the handset had nokia ME settings but it has come back with N73 standard settings as music button loads up multimedia but rather the phone worked than a small issue like that.
Also it now has A2DP which is anthoer bonus as I have a pair of Motorola HT820. I'm due an upgrade now but no too sure what I should get N82 or N95 8GB???

I am thinking about purchasing this phone, but am worried about the negative comments I have read.
How reliable is the joystick and the operating system. Does it really take 30 secs + to send a text message

can i download softwares and games on n73 me even it is written on n73?

Its a great phone, Muzik edition has a good ear phone having good muzik and black look with 2GB memory card. 3.2mpxl camera is amazing.

I always put n73 in my pocket.. but it often off..i never touch it when its in my pocket. what is the solution? thx

you're right bout this phone, it was way too slow when opening an application. the joystick is not sturdy...BUT..whatever shortcomings that this phone has, i've really grown to like and love this baby. i don't know why. perhaps we really see things dif'rently even its just a mobile phone

Well, i can't deny this is a very good telephone indeed, but i have to say that it's got some serious project flaws too!
i find its responses very slow in comparison to my sonyericsson k750. And it bus, mas it really bugs. It takes eternety after shooting a picture to the display be back aveilable again.
This non repeating alarm thing drives me crazy.
It is a below the average phone in my opinion.
Not a good buy.

N73 is a symbian phone and it supports both sis, jar and jad applications, try login to wap.getjar.com and you will find applications that can run on your phone

Just want to inquire what will I do with my n73 if I can not send messages because it says it has low memory yet i had deleted messages from the inbox and the folders. Say for instance memory used 41 and memory free 121.

i am having same prob, thou have latest firmware....every nw n then, messages cannot be read, or contacts cannot be dial when hit the left button...and i got to restart....seems to be a permanent bug....

my n73 hanges after taking 6 to 7 pictures the only way to fix it is by restarting it i cannot restart my phone after 7 shots its not normal please help me out from this problem
