Does everyone know, is there a difference between the N73 made in Germany and the one made in Finland?

ahh that phone memeory problem is due to the fact that the RAM gets used up- ao its advisable to restart the phone again-though its time consuming to boot up again>>

      Hello people.
Does anyone here knows where I can download maps from SPAIN and UK FOR FREE to my N73 so I can use them without GPS connection ( cause N73 doesnt have GPS). I'll appreciate the help

      to In need of help:
Try saving all files you have left in your memory card in your PC, after that format the Memory Card with the Mass Storage option. then put the Memory card back in your phone and see what is the capacity doing ( it should be clean) so put the files back), that should work.
      Peace

        @ LOW MEMORY

The other thing that can cause low memory is other Third party Applications which use a lot of Phone memory. For instance, there is an application that one uses to make Themes(NAME AVAILABLE)ON YOUR N73; The more the themes you create with that application the more the memory it consumes, simply because it duplicates your music files you choose as ringingtones in the SOUND CLIPS folder.

This is just one example, so be certain that you don't have many such Applications on your JEWEL (i.e N73)

@ GUY WITH HANGING PHONE (BaNaNaaz )

I think you need to defragment your memory card. This is necessary when your files are scattered all over your memory card and you need to arrange them nicely. Files are fragmented by constant deleting and additions to the memory space.

Try connecting your phone to the computer and choose the Connection Option of MASS STORAGE. Then go to MY COMPUTER and choose your MEMORY CARD. Right click and choose PROPERTIES then TOOLS tab and then DEFRAGMENT NOW. Assuming that your Free space in the memory card is less than 15%, just choose CONTINUE when that dialog box pops up.

            @ LOW MEMORY GUYS

(1)About unaccounted phone memory try to goto Menu>Tools>File Manager>Installed Files. Delete every Application in that folder. Please note that this WILL NOT uninstal your applications. These are just duplicated files

            (2) Try going to MENU>TOOLS>FILE MANAGER>NEF>LOG and delete any files in there.

Try these options then restart your phone and see if it helps.

Hi there! If you have a problem re phone memory, try restoring your phone settings to its original settings then after a few minutes, the memory will be freed up.

Im having a problem here with the Phone memory. I dont get what is the exact problem. I've actualy deleted all the images, sound clips that i bluetooth in, videos that i took and all other files from the phone memory. But there's a msg keep on pop up stating that "Memory Full. Please delete some data". I've practically deleted everything away from my phone including sms. But i dont get it why is it when i check with status of the Phone Memory, the Memory in Used is 47MB when i've deleted all files away. Is there any hidden files that I am not aware of? I need help with this problem. I practically have no images, no sms, no video clips, no sound clips practically nothing left in the phone but yet the status is still showing 47MB memory in used. Due to this 47MB in used, i cannot retrieve even one sms. Please help me out.
Your early reply & attention to my problem is highly appreciated.
                      Thank You.

I have this phone loaded with 2gb card. (not music edition). I have over 350 songs in here. When I try to search it using letters and it hanged up and I have to wait a long time. It happened on my previous firmware and after upgrading to 4.0735.3.0.2 (1/9/07), it is still having the same problem.

                                Hi there,

Hope u all r fine & doing well..

I have been using this phone & itz been working well, until just yesterday when I dropped it the 3 rd time after I purchased the phone since 3 weeks.

                                So I need HELP.

Whatz happened is after I dropped the phone, only the photo/ capture (Image) button on the phone that is loacted on the bottom right hand side of the the phone does not seem to be functioning well. I cannot say that the button is completly messed as, when I press the button the flash light turns on, but I am unable to take any image or video, unlesss I keep pressing the button nearly 5 or 6 times at ramdom & then finaly the image/ or photo/ or video is taken.

                                Now my QUESTION??

Is there any alternate button apart from the capture button on the phone that can be used instead of the capture button. I am slightly tech savy & tried to check out for various options on the phone, but to no avail.

I do understand that the next option u all wud suggest is to take it to the Nokia service centre. But I am not in the UK or US, where in they wud replace the phone right away. Back here they wud firstly charge me for the service to fix this problem since they claim that accidental damage does not fall under the warranty, although I dont mind paying for it, but the worst part of it, is that they would have my phone with them for nearly 3 to 4 weeks just to fix this problem. And morever apart from the capture button not working well, everything else on the phone works perfectly well. Yes I really mean it. The stereo speakers, all the other buttons(except the capture button), the display, the slider, the camera turning on automaticaly when slider is opened, the navigation key, etc work perfectly well.

So please help me with regards to suggesting any alternate key/ or option.

                                Thank you.

                                Have a great weekend.

                                Cheers!!

In "settings" (in camera mode) there are sound types for the camera...Choose "camera 4" there and the sound it makes is hardly noticable....

                                    Try it guys.
