I have been using my N73 for months and i am realy satisfide with its features and all over job ability but the only problem 4 me is lack of auto-key pad locking system which i supposed people of NOKIA had forgotten it which is a primary feature which was a normal function even with the old tme 1611, (do you remember it?)

hye..i'm using this N73ME for the past 3 weeks..it's the best phone i have..the Mp3 player very niece..good quality speaker..the pic quality is very niece..i like it's desing..i no have any problem with my N73..I LoVe my N73..I lOvE Nokia Too...

Shame For Nokia Care Centre!!!!
Hi, I m using n73 for more than one year.10 days before when I was updating software,computer lost the connection with fone and my fone died.I want to Nokia care Centre for repair and I was ready to pay for repair,but "They refused to repair it because I bought this fone in USA and I live in Chile and they can not repair it" So,I forced them to give this wording in written. after that I sent my N73 to repair in other repair centre and they repaired it for 25US$.I have the bill. " Shame For Nokia Care Centres".
If they can't repair fones of other countries then why the make 3 or 4 band unblocked fones??

firmware updates can be had from nokia software updater just download the program from nokia, plug in your phone and check for updates as long as you are not trying to change the product code. If you want to change your product code you will need what is called NSS, it gets alot more complicated then, you will need to go to help forums for that.
If your phone is slow press and hold the menu key when you are in the standby screen, it will load up the task manager which shows all the tasks that are running. With symbian if you like using end key to get outta applications then it wont actually close. you might find a whole lot of applications open in the background which is causing it to slow down. Just close each one manually by 'exiting'. You will see that file manager/messenging and stuff are all considered applications that are open.
See if that works
About the joystick, you will find its pretty tough, i always keep mine in the pocket without a cover and anything, but the joystick works fine. though the silver paint will eventually rub off on the tip, like mine. It takes a while for that to happen though!

The resolution of the video recording is not the only important matter. Video format (avi, 3gp, mp4,..) , the sofware and level of compression is important. That is why my 3 year old 1.3Mpix Cif recording in mp4 give better and smoother video than many 3 Mpix new phones.
By the way anyone knows a small phone with good video recording ?

QVGA means Quarter of VGA, as QCIF means Quarter or CIF

btw...if VGA(640x480) isnt regarded as half of 1.3 megapixel (1280x760)
and is only 1/4...then that means
CIF(352x288) and, to be accurate, QVGA(320x240) could be considered as 1/4 of VGA too?

just awhile back...it suddenly occured to me that the camera of the 6600,which is VGA, is regarded as ".3 megapixel" hehehe...figures ^_^

hi to all N73 users! I'm planning to buy the N73 Music Edition but i still have queries...would you guys help me pleaze..how is the joystick of this fone? is it ok to put this fone inside my pocket? I mean, won't it affect the performance of the joystick afterwards or would it damage the joystick? i really can't wait to have this phone... thankz in advance!

hi. bought a n73 music edition black. great phone, but sometimes it turns off automatically when it still has a lot of battery.

My problem is that the phone takes too long to execute any task. The lag between the command and execution of command is quite noticeable. Do you know what causes the problem and how i can correct it. As for the firmware update can you advise me and if you have them can you e-mail them to me. i appreciate your help

Having more than 2G of memory on the phone and installing too much applications makes it slow.

Hi Guys, i'm proud to say that i'm using N73ME. please don't bug on other's comments including mine. if u feel that its a good mob whether its N73 or anyother then go ahead. Take decisions on your own. Because i'm not telling that we r telling lie, instead pls try to understand that not all the mobiles comes with the problem.

I'm using this N73 music edition for the past 4 months. Its the best phone I ever had. Very good music quality. Long lasting battery.Excellent camera.pic quality is good even when taken in the dark.it almost serves as a digi cam too.Design is very elegant too. sometimes it tend to become slow when u don't restart the phone for days.

Nobody is talking of N73 offWhite Limited Edition with Leather case. To give it a push its has worked . It is marvelous to hold especially the shinny steel portion is gone with body color.300 $ is worth it all
