Is it music you're looking for? Pick 5700, it's the best music-smartphone alternative minus the 3.2 autofocus camera.
It's better than N73 in terms of design, speed and music.
Not to disparage Nokia but to my observation, N73 crashes a lot. I've used N73 MusicEdition before. It was great, but 5700 is greater. I don't need much camera features, just music in a phone is ok with me.

no dude.i dont agree with u.the headset which is given with N73ME,is not good enough.it hurts my ear.can anybody suggest me a better headset from other brand(preferably SONY)?
Kindly mention the model.I will b grateful.

I know this phone are completely sucks
but it is not completely unusable !
but with the latest firmware really improve the phone only a little little bit such as A2DP profile (now available for N73 normal addition also) the phone sms accelerator are no longer necessary to your phone the phone camera and video improve abit....... only.
but if you are still having problem ??
suggest you to HARD format your phone !!
and please make sure your 3rd party software installed are not conflicted with others software (this part hard to explain better advise from handphone dealer or experienced symbian user maybe can call symbian player)
about the phone very slow and alot of problem of course because the system are only running 220MHZ processor and the worst part is it is running on DUAL CPU that cause problem to your phone because alomost every high end phone are using DUAL CPU so that why your phone became very expensive and troubling
(note for all symbian player (only) please make sure to format your phone if you feel your phone slow down and probably install software if it is really necessary to your phone dont install over 20 application on your phone or else you will suffer LATER (it can be one month later) pls ignore this if you are using legal purchased 3rd party software and not the cracked one)
for all non symbian player
if you feel fade up with this phone buy sony k800 and etc non-symbian phone you will not suffer from virus attack and software conflict and etc.. advise not to install any 3rd party software in your phone but you can install some free software from the nokia website it will not harm your phone !
always get advise from the handphone shop before you update any firmware in your phone and also apply to the 3rd party software.
thats all i have found on as a symbian player
for 3 years (and actually symbian means nothing to me anymore)

try install sms accelerator.....download it at nseries.com.....try find it at support in Nseries.com

Hi, any ideas my N73 phone has been getting slower and slower now when I try to send a text, takes about 5 to 10 mins fo rthe phone to come back to life, is this normal? Any suggestions or is my phone just goosed?

Try this....
change your nokia earphone 3.5mm jack to any sony ericsson plug-in earphone 3.5 mm jack.....clear bass and treble....and 1 more thing, if you want hear music clearly and loud, just convert the song with bit rate 320 kbps....you will satisfy every music that you have converted.....BUT the song size will be larger than before....no need to pay expensive earphone.....

Can anyone confirm that latest firmware version for N73 ME version 4.0727.2.2.1 have A2DP profile ??
if it have A2DP profile, what bluetooth stereo headset brand do you proposed to hear music better....?

Go for the nokia n80 internet ed. Its like having a n95 minus the gps and some other goodies. but its cheaper. also its better than n73 in lot of ways. What I don't like about the n73 is the BORING design, the STUPID joystick and the wi-fi thingy. Who complains about n80 lacks of autofocus? Buy a digital cam! its not a cell phone you want. Nokia n80ie. That's it. Any objection?!

Hi, I live in Brazil and I've got a N73 cause at that time, there there was not the ME here. I enjoy listening to music and I'd like to know if Nokia N73ME is better according to my prupose - a cel phone, a web cam and, mainlly, a MP3. How can I upgrade for N73Me, if it's the case. Thanks, Denise

i have it for about 3 months and i am not so happy!
It crashes a lot......slow........

Awful phone. Ugly fat big box with smaaaall buttons. Slow operation. Camera's even worse. Sorry but I'm extremelly disappointed.

i was much exited for nokia hand set i got n73 . ifound battery problem which is giving very low timming. it gets exausted very fast, moreover its digits and figers are very small it makes fatigue for eyes.

can somebody tell me how much will a an n73/n73 M.E pannel cost?? the thing is like my pannel is getting worn out..especially the rubberish layer at the back cover.nbody facing the same problem??

oh yea i only used radio a few times but it works ok, also the music player application sometimes doesnt sort "view latest additions" accurately, but i like how it keeps track by ID4 tags and most-frequently-played. external speaker can be surprisingly loud, acceptable but not great quality. sounds great in earphone tho. also supports variable bitrate MP3, and i can convert a 2-hour DVD movie to MP4 and watch on fone! (no FF/rewind though)
