Hi Lahiru,
Have read the post by XLY earlier, it regarding the top left speaker not functioning. Can you check yours.
My friends too, do check and post comment.
I'm having same situation as XLY. But not much problem, did not notice it till now. God, can't imagine the output volumne if its working.
I'm check with Nokia tomorrow. Will keep u posted.

Plz Everyone Tell me To choose the best i want good sound , Camera ,and easy use ( i was thinking about n73 ME but some ppl talk about some problem in it like joystick, hangs ... etc i want chose good phone in same price and good camera + sound :) thnx

you said that n73 ME is louder than basic n73 ? is it cause of software or and hardware?
i think the only difference is on mem card and the color (coveR)

I intend to buy a K800i very soon. This would be my first SE phone, I have been a Nokia user so far. I like both brands, in fact, but the camera of K800 seems better and the price also. In Bulgaria K800 costs 295 EUR, while N73 is 375 EUR. It seems that the only serious flaw of K800 is the joystick, but one could handle it with more care. I will post again here in 1 year to share opinion. I thank all users who posted here and helped make my choice.

who said the mini sd slot cant be opened ez? at close to the point where we plug in the charger , use your fingernail, and open the mini sd slot from there....

Your comment earlier W550 is louder dan N73 fink u are right. but W550 is not louder than N73 Music Edition in Speaker wise or headphones.
in N73 ME if u put eqaluziers all full & turn on Stereo Widening the volume of N73 is louder than any other phone in the market yet. (we gotta wait for 5700 lol).
Also through the normal headsets that you get wid n73 is loud on N73 ME put all equazliers full n stereo widening on n loudness on youll hear the difference!

Sorry about it.
Let me put it in another way. Our N73 could be upgraded to either the ME or internet version by mean of changing the firmware. It is not like an application whereby we just download and use. The whole process of doing this update can be found in the following

The N73 internet version can only be found in Taiwan and Hong Kong. And I also read that the english fonts are not so good for internet version. Do consider carefully before you take any action.
I personally would not do it as it would void the warranty of the phone and I find it uncomfortable to use internet on the phone 2.4' screen.

The phone is good and its very stimutating! Congs to nokia. My only problem with it is the difficulty in fitting headset and the data cable. Also the memory card slot is not easy to open!

i think your purpose contain this topic,you cant receive *.sis file from bluthooth or any connection by other device which want send it to you.
there is one trick method exist,you can tell to your sender who want send you the *.sis file, rename his file to *.si_
i tested this method and when i recieved *.si_ i can install it very easy.

Before download, please make sure your phone data/time is set correctly. Go to your phone "App. Mgr.", press "Options", press "Settings", make sure "Software installation" is set to "All", and "Online certif. check" is set to "Off".

dun thk there is a "wi-fi" software available, although there are software to scan for wifi hotspots.

It's weird, but have you guys noticed that the top left speaker does not work... if you cover the top right and the bottom and see. It doesn't make any sort of sound. Or is this just me? The top left as in the top speaker above the 'Nokia N73' logo.
