Bought 6290 in Greece yesterday for 330 euros. Sound is better than 6233...amazing! The camera is very mediocre and slightly worse than other Nokia 2mp cameras. Extremely fast menu navigation due to a 369Mhz processor as compared to N73's 220Mhz one. Not very vivid internal screen but perfectly acceptable.

Guys... if u are rich like me..get this fone... if u are not rich then go for N6233, which has better quality sound than this. Nokia made N73 for rich people and N6233 for Poor....

to my dear who dont type his/her name and have a zoom problem.
dear guy its normal,your resolution decrease when your zooming and its depending on your device mega pixel.
be sure devices such as n70 ... which hase less megapixel camera than n73 shown worse image coompare than n73.thus topic include your picture too.

N73 is better then N70(ME) and N90 ,N70
N73 has 3RD Edition symbian which is the best
N73 3MP camera - the rest dont
N73 has it allll - K800i doesnt have much.

please help
i have the n73 me when i use camera in video mode and use the zoom function the quality became very very bad is it because of the software or what
can we use zoom funcion iv video mode or what cuze in pic mode it has no problem

why confuse yourself?why you challenging?!!!why hesitate to choosing between defferent model type such as n73-n70-n80-n91-n93-w900-wk800-...?!!
if you attention to first page of nokia n73 in this site ,there is the compare tab,then you can click on it and compare all its features by other models.you see directly their specification such as size,display size,resolution,features,....etg.
but in nokia n73 case. i have it.and dont see any disapproval and dismal action from it.its joystick in good mood(actually i accept this joyestic design is not good for advance cellphone like n73).i dont upgrade its firmware becuase never seen hanging!!thats why i often send my photo to pc and never storage massive picture or file in my phone and advise you,if you want prevent to hanging your cell phon you must keep your phone memory empty.and storage your file in memory card.
if you facing by too hanging,you joust upgrade your firmware.

Hi to everyone! hmm. i am thinking to buy n73ME on may 1 but in this forum, it tells that it always hang??..is dis true?..but somebody tells that if i've upgraded it, the hang will be gone and it will be faster?? pls help me i ve got 3 weeks to go to decide! thx in advance

WOW! why is the W900 so much more expensive than a N73, W900 is over a year old and its stil around $550-$600 yet N73 is alot newer but its around $300-$490, realy strange

Yes the N91 is the best when it comes to sound,the N73ME may hav 3D sound but N91 has the audio chip which makes it better at headphones sound mainly.
how can N73 and W550 be equal? me and my frend who has an N73 compared the loudnes of hz N73 and my W900 and found that they were equal AND W900 DIDNT CRACK u realy didnt set the equaliser rite!! the W550 is knwn to be louder than a W900!!

dont forget:
n73 doesnt have wifi.
n73 joystick is real problem. real problem!!!! real problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
n73 keypad is uncomfortable and too small.
n73 is like hundreds of any bar phone simple and boring after little time.
n73 hangs alot .

n73 suffers from 3 thing:keypad,joystick and no wifi.
it also hang alot thats the fact.
ofcourse it has its advantages but i think its not that worth if you wanna choose

of course n80 is better than n93 an n73 i had these three phones so here is reality:
n93 is too big and heavy,not very user friendly but in the matter of video recording is the best.
n73 is not good as anyone tells.n73 is boring because of its regular and ordinary candybar shape.mine was hang alot, in every 10 calls it rang nokia tone automatically, joystick is loose ,back cover is loose , the keypad is so uncomfortable, its not a unique one in construction and operation.
n80 is better than those, especially internet edition .construction is solid and reliable, sound is not 3d but it has more clarity ans in more powerful in headset. n80 has audio adapter and ram in its box but n73 doesnt have.
the camera in n73 is more vivid and colourful than n80 but there isnt any major discrapansies in pohotos in these 3 phones .
