Hi Lahiru,

I getting sick of K800i wannabe and users coming over N73 sites and post all these rubbish (Sorry). They should be at their own sites and read the postings of K800i users, I was at K800i sites and was concern that a non smartphone like theirs has some funny problems too, similar to N73.

So, I say K800i people that are here reading this, U GOT THE BEST PHONE IN THE WORLD.....ALRIGHT. Now get out and stop bothering us. Thanks.

    K800i is faster thank N73 but K800i is not a SMART phone.May be you don't know that.THats why K800i faster.Every SMART phones were slow.But not too much.

    Update your N73 FIRMWARE.After that it want hang.

      i have n73 and k800., the performance of k800 is amazing because it does not hang., the xenon flash is great too and the camera.,it only takes me around 2-3 sec to auto focus., in my n73 the fone is not fast as my k800 and it hangs all the time., the camera is good but over saturated all the picture i took are too much colorful.,the joystick is very uncomfortable to use because my thumb always slip., on my conclusion i think my k800 is good at indoor while my n73 is good at out door

        to F4ps: kindly tell ur friend to upgrade her 6233 to latest version. she will not shake her head anymore..

          You can do what you want with Nokia PC Suites. The following are a brief description :

          You can synchronise a compatible Nokia phone with the following PC PIM applications:

          Microsoft Outlook 2000, 2002, and 2003

          Microsoft Outlook Express / Windows Address Book

          Lotus Notes 5.x, 6.x, and 7.0

          Lotus Organizer 5.x and 6.x

            Can I synchronize my Outlook's e-mail and tasks with the calendar of this phone?
            There are some software for this?

              With V2 FIRMWARE its hanging always but with V3 its not hanging.Thats the TRUTH

              I had this phone since 4 months with V2 it hangs but i updated my FIRMWARE to V3 & i dont have any problems.

                i work for phone company and we stopped stocking them as we found N seiries have all got software probs. I HATE nokia anyway

                  TONY dont get any of the 2 the N series are twong lad. Iv had both and had constant probs wioth both, ie freezing on me, cutting off. NOKIA IMO are the worst phones at the min

                    Just to let u know something. I'm reading your posting with a friend who has a 6233, and she is shaking her head in disbelieve. I just transferred a song from my N73me to her 6233, all setting the same and both phone set to the loudess. Their ain't no way 6233 can beat N73me. Anyway no ony hers but also all my friends that owns 6233.

                    You are one lucky person to have a special 6233.

                      I hav had this phone for 4 months, do not buy it, it is rubbish
                      freezes nearly everyday, so u have to turn it off and on
                      it is very slow will freeze 4 up to 6 seconds and then carry on
                      wen taking pic,s its slow and its all faulty sometimes pics wont save or when u hav taken 1 and deleted it, it will still be there, when u press the button to take the pic it somethimes freezes and after about 10 seconds will randomly take a pic when viewing the gallery u have to wait at least a 1 min 4 all the pic,s to load, it says u hav no memory left even when u have loads, sometimes it wont make calls but once u turn it off and on its fine, u cant hav the 3d ringtones on otherwise u cant answer calls properly, and whne in the middle of viewin pics or writting a message it will somethimes just cancel whatever u are doing and take u back to the main menu, there are so many problems which are all very frequent oh but it does have a good speaker very loud and clear, also if u acidently press the cancel button in the middle of writting a message it will save to the drafts so you dont have 2 write it again and also wen the camera works the pictures come out really good but somehow i still dont think its worth it!!!!!! DONT BUY THIS PHONE!!!!! NOKIA CUT CORNERS NEARLY ALL NOKIA PHONES ARE AWFUL THEY ARE BAD QUAILTY PHONES BUT SEEM GOOD AS THEY HAVE THE LATEST OF EVERYTHING

                        guys.... nokia-6233 has better stereo spkeaker than n73.... try and see..

                          To Tony, the N73 is better than the N70 in terms of features. But if you're looking at the price, N70 is the better pick between the two. For me, any of the two would be fine. ;)

                                Same thing happened to my N80 when I updated firmware just before Xmas.
                                It died and would not come back on.
                                I took it to nearest Nokia service agent and they had to send it back to Nokia.
                                It was back and updated by them to latest firmware within a week.
                                As long as it is under warranty and you have the receipt they will repair it for free.

                                  I have a nokia N73 ME (music edition) and i use the CD (nokia pc suite) that comes with it to update my phone software. After I updated my phone software my phone went off and it would not turn back on. I contacted Nokia to have it fixed but they said even if my phone is still under warranty, they do not cover software. Does this problem happen to anybody here? I need help fixing my phone.

                                    Hi PUTj,

                                    Just to share with you.

                                    When updating firmware always backup your phone memory, then removed memory card from the phone.

                                    Proceed to update the firmware.

                                    Thereafter, restore back the data of phone memory, then insert back the memory card. The phone will re-initialised and restored back data from the memory card.

                                    This was confirm by Nokia. If in doubt, please contact Nokia Care Ctr in your country to re-confirm. So with this info, you are not restraint from updating to the latest firmware.

                                    Enjoy your games. If you could, try smartmovie to view your video. The result is much better than real player.

                                      hi Tony,

                                      of coz it's N73, which is the best all rounder in my opinion, according the the specs.

                                      i also have about 95 games, 16 appz, several mp3 ringtones i edited, + 2GB mini SD to watch my fav shows like Prison Break in 3gp format on the move...so it's a real gem to me....

                                        first prob with my "perfect" N73 today.....ringtone becomes default nokia tone, no matter what is choosen, and i have to set the videotone to my desired ringtone, before it becomes the ringtone !!! installed too many games, appz etc....if not i would have tried to upgrade the firmware myself....all stuffs would be wiped out if i do so, even if it is saved to memory card....
