Got the phone today seems a cool one. Just wanna no wehter i need to upgrade my software!!! Because every one's telling so wiil be grate ful if some1 can help me out!!!

hey guys i have been using n 73 for 5 mnths now...i have a normal n 73 and i have converted into a music edition through nemises service suite(nss)..n 95 is goin to launch in india next month but guys dont go for n 95..if u have n 73..coz display of both the cell are same and the megapixel wont count until nd unless u get a print of it...nd gps in india wont work properly..nd if it works and u have to pay some monthly rent..wait for n 99 as it has 5 megapixel cam,3 inch screen and 8 gb hdd

how or why does the joystick fall off on the N73? Ive seen quite alot of forums about the N73 joystick falling off,and i cant undastand how or why it falls off!? i mean SE joysticks are annoying i knw i ownd a SE W800, bt atleast SE joysticks dnt just fall off

This phone is really good compared to s.e k800i, of course the camera on k800i is way better since it's sony and cyber shot! yes its true that n73 gets stuck a lot but it is a smart phone! Some peole say that it turns off while talkiin on the phone but that never happened to me! weird....
My friend also has this phone but in red her joystick fell off after about 3 months and she said that the same thing happend to her friend.
4 ppl who r thinkin to buy 1 of these phones buy n73 if you dont mind bout the camere, but ppl who like photography then go 4 the k800i. I've had both phones and i like n73 more than k800i,
k800i minuses:
- looks cheap
-small screen
-realy stupid joystick!
-the cap that protects the camera opens really easily
-the cap scratches easily
-cant do anything while you're sending something over bluetooth. I think thats it!
and the nokia n73 -:
-its slow(well as i said it is a smart phone!ohh and i have 1 GB card that might be it as well)
-bad camera
thats it! The nokia has a great design, speakers( has 2 speakers 1 at the bottom and 1 at the top), huge screen, rich look .
the 2 phones are not that heavy. good that i loost my k800i and i got nokia n73!:)

it is a disappointing phone. i have been through 3 generations of nokia, but I think the N73 will be the last. there are bugs in the phone, the keypad is not that responsive and it is pretty slow. I think Nokia have lost their edge. Advice: seriously look at other makes.

im on my 2nd N73 handset and have now given up and swapped over to sony ericsson.
Both n73s had software issues which made the phone crash, slow right down and become unresponsive. ON top of that both phones have had the tendancy of keeping the backlight on even with the keypad locked and on charge. This gets the phone very hot and drains the battery

nokia n73 is a mind blowing set. i bought it a month ago n i m enjoying it very much. althouh nothing is perfact i just want to know about the voice command dial in nokia n73. is there any method to add the voice command for contacts as we like. it has company fitted voice cpommands for contacts. n 1 thing more that if someone know any web site from where i can get free softwares for my cell............

Hey everyone, iv read the comments posted...a lotta ppl have a complaint with the phone's OS being slow....well indeed the N 73,like any other smartphone is a lil slower compared to the other phones out there...but plz understand that its doing more than the other phones...its multi-tasking...if u dont care much about functionality and just want to use a stylish phone,there r plenty other phones out there...
For those who want to satisfy their Geek Quotient the N 73 is perfect ;-) ...

Review
i have been using N73 for one week and its outstanding.
photo and video are superb and display is fantastic.
still observing battery life and it seems a bit too low.
You can upgrade quickoffice to enable document editing, and install sotwares for unlimited voice recording and repeat alarm.
camera slide cover looks nice but engineering is poor. keypad is fine for an average size handed man. no problem with OS apart from its normal symbian speed.
need advise on memory card as i have not yet inserted one. will a 2GB card work fine? or 1GB is better?
I am not a music fanatic, still tested and found music player good.
design is very basic but looks elgent and sleek.

hi,i have just tried up dating my software on my n73 and half way through the phone shut down and will not turn on at all!! i followed all the instructions as per the nokia site,has anyone had this or know how to sort the problem. Please.

My frend got his N73 yesterday cant wait to play around with it and kinda compare it to my SE W900, i playd wit an N73 at VODAWORLD last weekend,i was so dissapointed by the joystick its way too small for me,and slippery my thumb kept pushing the 2-button everytime i navigate down with the joystick, the screen is beautiful at VODAWORLD they put the movie THE DIVINCI CODE on the N73 512mb card! WOW! movie was crystal clear on that big screen,realy nice phone too bad no WiFi, bt im sure that beautiful screen and luk of N73 makes it up ay

for ameenz...
i think the problem with N73 ME is that it has not WiFi.... so even if you installed Internet Edition, the function of the phone does not match with the software...

yeah you can listen music from your phone using bluetooth... currently i am using N73 Music Edition and it is cool to use and it is easy to use... I have a cyber headset which is bluetooth operated...

after a few months using, the OS becomes very slow. had to send to Nokia centre to get a fresh OS install. Now its faster. Can't defrag a cellphone. :(
