you can find smartguard in either http://cracking.to or nokiapower.com
although im not sure if the available apps has a corresponding version for n73. other appz i would recommend are 'smart settings','black baller'and 'smart call manager'. hopefully, there is a version for your phone. im using n6630

yuup, my n73 sumtimes freeze, lagging and hangs. when i took pictures sumtimes it went to normal mode n in few seconds it back again in camera mode... n it was quite annoying 4 me. i believed mine is AP set bought in malaysia. i think i better go to the shop that i bought this n73 at the 1st place to consult wit them regarding my hp.

nokia introducing various type model bit till today they donot have version to cover total earth. for example gsm verssion is not useable in japan. wether japan is not on earth how to integerate as we donot need to buy seprate mobile while in japan.

hi it is great but there is no version to adopt japanese system.i am carzy mobile phone incomplete which donot have total earth version. can recomend such model.

anyone tested the new firmware v3.0704.1.0.1?? i can't try it because i've got vista and nss doesn't work on vista(i must change my product code before update cause i've rewritten the old one back -as the new product code is from my region,but if i have on it the original when i encounter problems and the phone won't start or somthin',i don have to worry about having my warranty canceled :)).i've read on a forum that it changes on small thing,not important(actually update it),but that isn't enough for a firmware update,there must be more...so if anyone updates it,well... impressions...:)

Just got it back the other day. they replaced the keypad for me. hope it wasnt a super glue job! It was the little silver plastic thing thats on top of the joystick. very badly constructed imho. i could still use the joystick but it was pretty hard. oh well, hope it doesnt happen again

but i tried to put my profile to silent and also off the warning tone but still shutter tone is on.had u tried on this????is this trick workin on ur N73?
on switching off the flash,i agree that during focus its always on but there is also a small blink during taking a snap
plzzz help me again if u dont mind,and do try this technique on ur cell and tell me again plz.Thank u

Hamed from which web site might I be able to download Smart Guard? Basically what you are saying is that this software, once installed, will prevent any unauthorized 3rd party from viewing my pics but would this also apply to the pics in the gallery?

I ownned Nokia N73ME Black on Feb,2007 at Malaysia. No problems so far, Music sounds loud and clear with perfect bass. Luckily
I never go for SE w850i or the latest Nokia
N77 which its camera only 2MP. Taken a lot
of photos with my N73ME, pictures looks
great. Happy with it !!!

Yes the phone cover/faceplate is interchangeable. Lots of OEM covers available in the market now at very cheap prices.
Changing is easy u just need 2 credit cards. for detailed instructions on how to do this go to:

I was able to change mine. I updated my regular N73 to the internet edition firmware. To whoever wants all the cool additions to the N73 ME version (new music player, better sound, etc) and still keep the media button instead of making it a music button.... update your firmware to Internet edition!!!!

Nokia has released a new firmware for both normal N73 and N73 Music edition.
Nokia N73 New firmware : 3.0704.1.0.1
Nokia N73 ME New firmware : 3.0705.1.0.31
If anyone wants to get new firmware versions and make your phone more smooth and hangless please go to http://europe.nokia.com/A4305060 and update it today itself.
