I actually am considering buying it from lala-west.com They seem to be reputable and for around $590 (USD) i am getting the music edition with a 2gb memory card and a 2yr replacment plan that covers everything except theft and losing it. Can anyone tell me if LaLa-West is a good site? Or if youve had any problems from them ide like to hear those also. Thanks

N73 - in theory its got just about all you could need in a phone or camera, but unfortunately in reality all these features only work some of the time.
- Great features
- Great design/looks
- Sub standed firmware
- Joystick/mouse poor design and build
- Camera reaction too slow
- Many other problems arise randomly now and then.
- Regularly ceases up/frezzes/crashes.
My personal rating as an N73 owner/user;
Features/Looks - 9.5 out of 10
Reliabilty of use and Features - 3 out of 10

I got mine on ebay.
Most will ship from hong kong via UPS.
I got mine (a genuine brand new boxed ME with a 2gb card) for just over $600 inc shipping via UPS.
You can get it direct from nokia but they were charging about an extra $150 !

I've been using N73 ME for 3 weeks now.Didn't have problem at all.It;s come with a standard 2GB memory card.Love it.The speaker quality is superb compared to my previous SE W800i, but it's headphone is way behind W800i.

seriously don't understand why nokia implented such a bad joystick on a potential best-seller, a D-pad would be better. My joystick head fall off a month after i got it.

You can find that at Nokia download site. But is a trial version. Basically it allows you to set password to applications.
I find it useful in area of email or sms as I don't want people who use my phone to enter these area. Sad my trial period just ended.
As to the F-Secure antivirus program, guess we can still use it as a first line of protection (better than nothing), only thing is we can't update it anymore.
I read that a free antivirus call evo (something) which can be found in S60V3. is actually a virus in disguise, it render the battery useless and knock out the phone. It was confirm and explain by a spokeperson from F-Secure. So beware when you come across it.
Just wondering what are the others using to protect their phones. (Hey people care to share)

I found a antivirus but its a beta version, It cannot update.(In dotsis)
my antivirus expires tomorrow.

hey can please anybody tell me how to organize music and pictures in this phone like previously now it opens all the pictures files and also audio is very difficult to arrange previous gallery system was much better

Just update your firmware and everything will work faster.
And it is easier to change the cover to black.

Well, I am using this set since december 2006.
And found it really different from other nokia's set.
But with these good features, I also found some flauws in it..
First of all its camera internal display.
When cover is moved, it take a long time to show the picture in the display.
ANd second is its software.
It is so much slow, as compared to the previous symbian phones.
Kindly,
Solve these problems.
And one thing I wanna to ask kay Can we change its body from silver to black.
It is looking too hot in black one yaar..

cant update your n73 firmware using nokia software updater?? heres how.. if u know ur firmware is not the latest but nsu still says that no updates are available then follow these steps..
downlaod nemisis service suite
http://www.b-phreaks.co.uk/software.htm
then find your phone using it. go to the fone column,
a few boxes wil be empty. click read,
some values will be shown.
change the product code to 0529785.
tick the box jus to the right of the product code box.
then clik write. wait a few seconds.
thats it.
use nsu and update your n73 to the latest firmware available.
ive tried this and it works perfectly. remember to make a backup of ur fone memory using pc suite and restore it later. also take ur mem card out.
