Got my Full set of Black Keypads of Ebay today so my N73 looks identical to the Musical Edition N73 an the N73 in Black looks Brilliant,Just hope Nokia can Release the N95 in Black as well,Nokia releasing the N76 in Black as well,o.k silver an white might look o.k but Black shows less marks an wear

I tried X sound Mp3 player.Its taking some time to load and thats normal.Player is good.But i removed it from the phone
I didnt tried the voice command function.

Hi ppl,
Has any one tried X Sound MP3 player on N73.
I find the quality much better with better sound staging. And when u play it loud it's not that noisy as the original MP3 player.
One problem, it takes ages to load. I had no problem with loading speed for other functions. Can someone try it and let me know if the load is also slow.
Try it no harm done.
I tried the voice command function, its great cause u don't have to fiddle with the number pad and joystick that much. Any ideal how to get new function under the voice command other than the standard.

Your comment re sandisk card, I think u r referring to other format, cos sandisk office in s'pore confirm that miniSD only one type, doesn't have extreme or ultra. U sure ?
Dinos, u r a real hero using a 4gb card, very tempted to try it, cos' like u, the N73 take such good photos, the slideshow super and the video acceptable. Just hope to carry them all on the phone just in case need to show them to friends. Maybe u can let me know the brand u use.

-it loads faster the first time you enter the menu after booting the phone;
-it sends messages much faster! (from the moment you press sent till it appears delivered to x it takes between 10 and 20 secs - i'm on vodafone so results may differ :)..)
-camera doesn't hang anymore (and i've used it a lot today just to see if they fixed this annoying bug)
-it loads pictures,videos and songs a lil' faster when you enter the gallery

the phone seems a shadow faster, and i think that the camera doesn't hang any more (i made since this morning about 60 pictures,10 videos ,closed it,opened it etc...).nothing changed in rest. same themes apps,sounds the same...

odd!!i've upgraded my n73 firmware to v 3.0649.0.0.1 witch just appeared and it says that it's from 30-11-2006.these guys at nokia make our lives suck!!

realpro im using 4gb mem card because i have a lot of videos and is not slow is like that u have inside 32mb

Hi, jon.
I read on the net that people encountered with SAN Disk memory card. The error is memory card cannot be found.
But if they use SAN Disk Utlra II memory card, there will be no problem.
For 2GB issue....
1) Reboot your phone
2) Press Menu button -> Slow Right?
3) Press sub menu (E.g. Games, Tool) -> Slow Right?
Now exit the menu. Repeat item 1, 2, 3.
It is no longer slow.
If you are using 2GB, the 1st time u go into menu, it will be very slow.

if you cannot install certain games / applications, try going to application manager > settings > software installation, set "all"

In standby-mode, press and hold 0 to launch your wap home page.
In standby-mode, press and hold # to toggle between general and silent profiles
In standby-mode, press and hold right soft key to launch music player.
At the top of the main-menu and every folder, the keys 1 to 9 are shortcuts to the icons 1-9
In Settings > Phone settings > General, edit your start up welcome note / image
In Settings > Phone settings > Standby, edit your left and right selection keys for faster access
In Settings > Phone settings > Active standby appz, edit your shortcuts that shows on the main screen.
To switch off blue blinking light, go to Settings > Phone settings > Display, turn off sleep mode.
To auto lock keypad, press and release the ON button of the handphone ONCE, and choose “Lock Keypad”
N73 cannot set full screen wallpapers or animated gif wallpapers, but you can adjust image sizes accordingly ( eg: 440 x 480, or 240 x 320 ) to fit screen as much as possible.
To select all items, such as when clearing / deleting all messages in sent items folder, go to “Mark/Unmark”, select “Mark all”.
Create new profile, rename it as anything you want, and it will appear on the top of the main screen.
After installation of any games / applications, go Tools > File Manager > Installed files, and clear away the items ( if any ).
If certain games / applications cannot be uninstalled, try removing them in Tools > Application Manager
Switch off Bluetooth when not in use to prevent “blue-jacking”, or hacking of mobiles.

to get Youtube videos onto N73, download flv player from download.com, and a freeware, such as super converter at
http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html#Dnload.
then find your desired youtube video. After FULLY loading the video, copy paste the url on http://keepvid.com/, choose "youtube". Download link appears, right click, save as. use super converter to convert to 3gp format.

thats not so bad for N73 din hv an Wi-fi..
coz I found a Mini-SD with Wi-fi function...
it quite cheep for me... jus about RM299(US 79Dollar)
