the Nokia Nseries phones are all unfinished phones! slow phones! waste of money! i have the N71 but i just gave it to my sister. i've tried most of them and the problems are common..slow software, frequent hangs, etc.. these phones are very faulty..i've heard alot more good things about Sony Ericsson..that's why im planning to buy the K800i.. hehe ;D

Well, I tried downloading the update software fom the Nokia site to update my Firmware and was told that it wouldn't because because my PC required a minimum of 256mb. Come on now Nokia, do you really think I was trying to download to a Speak and Spell??
So now for some reason I can't get the latest Firmware. Just another problem.

Can just enybody help me. How can I upgrade my firmware? Do I need to go to shop to do that or can I do it at home and how? Also wich fimware version is the last? Thanks a lot

this phone... one word 'YARKS'.. just like ppl saying its a FAILURE product frm nokia. its good in crash and hang... DO NOT buy it.. if u did, u'll regret sooner or later, just wait and see...

its good your n73 works fine now. for me i havent upgraded my firmware yet since i got my phone because it still works perfectly and i never experienced a single crash. but those who may have experienced crash problems, the best solution is to upgrade firmware. n73 is still the best phone in the market today. (sorry i would have liked the n93 but i hate the design. too fragile for me. thats my opinion though.)

about camera crashes issue, well i also experience it, i took some photos and all i can get is a black blank photos, and so after that phone crashes & hanged, so i upgraded for v.2 to v.3 firmware ...and it works fine ....but it took an hour to updgrade its firmware ...but worthy ...great phone for those who understand how to fix pc bugs coz it is almost behave like a pc hehehe! but if your just an average guy who get to use the phone w/o any knowledge of what is happening to your n73, you might as well think that phone is defective ...am just bother by the joy stick, coz it works like i could break the head w/ a move ..i hope not hahahahahaha!

Hello guys can anyone help me to solve my problem. why when i active my bluetooth then it prompt me "Unable to perform bluetooth operation!" i just bought N73 about 2 days ago. Please help!! Thanks guys

i saw it and also saw it has 3.5mm audio jack at the head!! I DON't BELIEVE IT!!!!!

can N73 use 2GB memmory card(not ME)? will hang or slow ...??? wat brand is suit for it? why sometime the photo we take is come out black ? how to resolve it?

the n73 and the n73me doesnt differ much except that the n73me has added more features in terms of music application although it is not that many. the n73me is a bit more expensive. the n73 also can support 2gb mini sd. and for misconceptions, using a larger memory mini sd wont affect the phone's performance if used as storage.

Hi there, I'm planning to buy N73 because I have read some good reviews about it. Can anyone tell me the difference between N73 and N73 Music Ed? Is there also a significant increase in price? I read that N73 Music Ed can support up to 2GB miniSD, how about N73?

n73 may have some bugs but firmware upgrades can solve this problem and these phones that are released on the market now have little or no bugs at all. on the other hand, k800 also have some bugs and also freezes. and it even isnt a smartphone. i even dont know if bugs can be solved in the k800. just a food for thought for those who are deciding whether to buy the n73 0r the k800.

i think you made a wrong decision. first of all, why replace the n70 with the k800 when the n70 is a lot better. and k800 cant compare with n73 because k800 is just a phone with a camera while n73 is a smartphone thus can do more. hell, the n70 can do more. sad for you to say, most of the bugs of the n73 either has been worked out (like my phone) or can be worked out by firmware upgrades. and those who keep damning the phone maybe are those who cant afford it.

at menu, go to tools, then prohiles then select a profile and choose personalise. scroll down and you would find vibrating alert and you can activate it from there. i hope it helps.

The best mobile out now the N73 an hope Nokia can get some software ready for the N73 because everytime i try it says no software updates ready for your mobile,Nokia should have released the N73 in Black instead of White or Silver,i have but a Black Fascia on My N73 an it looks alot better an with Black Buttons an the phone looks alot better now,so Nokia not using recycled materials an release your mobiles in Black the look alot better as my 6233 in Black look Brilliant

Its so confusing and scary after reading through all the comments. Then I realised that you guy are not in the same country I'm in. So things maybe different.
Singapore N73 users HELP.........post your comments (good or bad) for poor old me to consider. Two phone on my list N73 & N80.

Just my observation, if you must compare quality and loudness of music. Bear in mind this "garbage in garbage out" Don't blame your phone.
Also, those who keep comparing N73 to K800. My question, why are u still reading this section, if you must to boast abt K800, try comparing the music and be frank with your opinion. There are definitely more that I can ask you to comment, but this one is enough.

APAC version of firmware are slower than EMEA/EURO version of firmware.
for example people who are getting slow messeage/gallery/menu/music player etc its becuase APAC is slower than EMEA/EURO firmware.
so flash ur phone to EMEA version
