Are you sure this phone has got 44mb RAM? I doubt that.
I wrote that...up to you to believe. I have appz on my ph to state the details on ram, ph memory, and memory card.

If you expect to buy a phone only when it absolutely has no bug...... wait ... wait till the cows come home. The best phone, just as with the best tech devices, all have their bugs. What is important is how serious are the flaws.

You are right that the review covers the features but do not touch on hands-on experience. (Well at least no silly questions then.)
My N73 hangs a number of time. Not really a big fuss to me bcos I have worse experiences with SE700 and O2 Atom. If you do not mind this little 'hiccups' N73 is great phone indeed.
In one case when it hang the analog clock at the top-left disappear. In other cases the two function at bottom-left and right disappear. Have also encountered phone function totally hang. In all these cases the phone resume properly when I reboot.
My conclusion? Windows Mobile (or O2 Atom) gave me more nightmares. For all the +ves I get from N73 the little 'hiccups' are all too trivial.

hey nike, wait for the N73 music eition, it will be launched within 15 to 20 days... dont buy the present N73, it has bugs

I'm also from Mumbai and want to buy it. Does your phone have the hanging/crashing problem? What capacity memory card are you using? Do you use GPRS? If yes, does it work fine? Does browser work properly or crashes on heavy pages? How is overall O.S. stability, comfort and ease of use? Did camera cover become loose? How is the joystick? Is your phone "Made in China" or "Made in Finland"?
I've heard too many complaints of hanging/crashing/rebooting/not able to receive calls, etc. etc. and I'm worried because it's a huge investment I'm going to make and don't want much problems, but would like to have the phone for it's features?
Pls help. Thanks!
To all other users, I'm asking these same questions again, because the "Pole position" review doesn't say anything about the mobile hanging/crashing, not able to receive calls, etc. These are the difficulties we have to face at ground level, but are generally not covered in reviews.

Refer to your User Guide or download the PDF copy from Nokia. Read and u will know y the blue light blink; how to check the built-in memory status, how to this n how to that. Do that first.

wen i keep the phone just like that on sofa , just next to the front camera a blue light keeps coming and going all the time ..is it normal ...does this thing consume battery ??

This is crazy. The N73 could now be connected to my notebook though i hv not done anything to the notebook or the N73. Blame it on Windows I guess.

Much has been said about the features of this phone and feature wise this phone is great. But I want to talk about the really bad experience of Nokia service. I bought this phone about 2 months ago in India. Within 2-3 days it developed a problem with the speakerphone. I gave it for repair at a Nokia care center. I was told that it will take 6-7 days to fix the problem and that they'd call me afte that time. I waited for about 10 days and called to inquire about the phone and was told that it will be fixed in another 2-3 days. This went for another 2-3 weeks. I got the phone back after 6-7 inquiries and over a month later. During the time the phone was with Nokia, there was not a single contact from Nokia.
If this is the norm for service at Nokia, this is my last Nokia phone!!!

HELP !!!
Suddenly my notebook say "USB device not recognized" when I cannect by N73 using the cable provided. It was fine for the last one week. What the devil is going on?? Changing USB port and rebooting give the same problem.
The N73 did detect the connection thus prompting me to select "PC Suite". Could this be a problem to do with my notebook?
Connection using Bluetooth was fine though.

I'm using both N73 n SE K800 but for camerawise, 2 thumbs up for N73. My N73 never hangs (and hopefully never will). 3G isn't that good though compared to SE K800.

software updates available via your service provider or the nokia website
as for 3rd party software - simply a case off googling until you find what you are after
