n73 is having problems.. its the phone for ppls out there who like visiting the "nokia care centre" blame symbian... auto shutdown, lcd goes blank, calls not in.. k800 is a better choice!

banshee: i have 3d tones turned off but no use, i have shoved n73 off until i can find a fix from the net or nokia gets serious about customer care

have you had your firmware updated? Most of the S60 phones (especially Nokiaas) have got probs with old firmwares...

A simple question Here...is the N73 Loud Speaker with 3d stereo better than 3250? i mean better when playing music? thanks in advance ^_^

using Nokia 6233, really nice fone. but gonna switch to Nokia N73. And S40 & S60 are platforms, like Windows, Linux etc. S40 is only capable of installing Java (Applications & Games)& Themes.S60(Symbian OS)fones support a large range of software which include Java and others meant for Symbian OS (Operating System).
I prefer N73 installing new softwares will add long term usage to it

please please help me. i\my heart was set on buying the n73. but i was offered a nokia 6233. i know its not really comparible but besides the fact that n73's camera is so gr8 wats the diff between the two.
6233 dnt hv video call which sucks:( but wud i actually use it?
can anyone tell me bout the 6233's software. i use my gprs/internet ALL day. so i need a strong phone. i also take lots of pics so i dnt want a phone that will become slow or freeze.
and what's that whole 40 60 thing?
6233 is a 40 and n73 is a 60. please reply asap thanks

anyone having a problem of phone stucking, not responding or blacking out. please turn off the 3d tone fucntion and ur phone will respond perfectly. let nokia guyz release a 3d tone patch for this problem. thanx

i had the same problem. screen balcks out n can't recieve a call. Nokia guyz say they have a problem with the 3d tone s/w in the phone. so better turn it off. i did it n the phone is working fine now. nokia will release a patch for this problem, so turn 3d tone off n ur fone goes perfect.

so far my N73 is great, just one problem though...
when I open the image gallery I can't see the pictures, I just see these icons and I can only see them if I zoomed in on the picture. I view the photos from the "all files" folder in the gallery instead of the "images and videos" folder because of this problem.
It's not that big of a deal but I would sure love to view images the proper way, the way the phone was made to. Anyone got an idea as to why this is happening?thanks

Hi guy's just purchased a n73 had four 6280's replaced cause of software issue's so i,m trying this model.Now i,ve had problems straight away with this phone with not being able to answer calls and screen going blank, has NOKIA lost the plot with their new phones or is it the vodafone software installed or have i just got bad luck? I,m really considering going to another brand because i cant get a Nokia to work does anyone have these same prob,s and how do you get the auto keygard on

so...does the this fone comes wid 128mb card here in Middle-East. Cause seen reviews saying in some countries like Russia etc. it comes wid 128mb sd card and in some doesnt.Comments plz ...

I recently bought a nokia n73. Everything was great until a week ago. I noticed that everytime the backlight of my phone turns off for power saving, I no longer recieve text or calls even if there is a full signal. If someone tries to call me, they get a message that my phone cannot be reached.
If I push any button and the backlight turns on again, I can already be callled and can receive text messages.
Does anyone have the same problem? Does anyone know how to solve this?
I tried turning the sleep mode off, increasing the time for the phone and light time outs but still nothing. I already formatted the phone, changed SIM AND MEMORY CARD, BUT STILL THE SAME.
Please help!!!

Nokia just released the N-series "music edition" in Malaysia. They are price equivalent with the ordinary N-series phones. For instance, N73 (music ed) sold at MYR 2k, with 2Gb memory card & latest firmware inclusive. They have even modified the multimedia key (on right) to music player. The speakers are much improved, louder and sharper.
However, I still like the original N73 design but terrible firmware. I was wondering can the new firmware in music ed. be installed / upgraded to ori. N73.
A mistake has it repeated! Nokia! A joke!
