Can any body help? when i turn the flash mode to OFF , it shows off on the screen but yet the flash works. i take the flash option to OFF and then press Ok , the logo of flash shows it off but still the flash is on when i clcik. any problem with my set?

I do not experience any freezing or restartss.. looks like we have the same firmware....i think it is really the number after the Nokia N73( xx) right? one here has 56.2 and i have the number 12.

enhanced voice dialling works fine with nokia n73 but not when i try to use the feature with nokia hs-4w boom bluetooth headset.does any one know if there are some compatibility problems. i think enhanced or basic(recorded voice tags) should not be an issue with any bluetooth headset if the phone supports the feature? btw, can n73 be made to record voice tags for voice dialling?

they say that the operating system of n73 (symbiam) is not yer perfected. the reason why it has freezing sms bug? is this true? can we install different OS like the windows mobile 5.0 to N73??

Hai I am Ali Asif from Pakistan.Can Any one pl inform me about the available body covers of Nokia N-73.Presently its front color is silver.Is it available as a fully black as SE K-780.Moreover how is it resolution because the most of Nokia Phones have faint colors and poor camera results.Can it result compete with Sony Ericsson as well as Its Screen Resolution which has Less Contrast.Pl convey me guide line I do buy or not.THANKS

why am i not able to listen to tracks stored in the gallery randomly or continuously? I have to play them one at a time and then select the next one to be played. :(
Also, when i try copying songs from my notebook to the phone, the nokia music manager asks me if i want to copy them in an optimized format. When i say yes, it doesnt copy them at all. Its just gives a pending status.
If i say no, then it copies the tracks to the gallery and not the music player on the phone.

Hi people. I am due my upgrade this month and it's between this phone and the new 8800 sirocco edition. I know that the cam is far better, the screen is far bigger and the battery life... but the 8800 looks cool and will hold its value better and be worth money next year. what you guys think? And either phone would be free on upgrade incase price of 8800 would put you off.

would some one be kind enough to suggest some sites for good series 60 3rd edition software( i am particularly looking for a talking dictionary). also can n73 be made to support A2DP bluetooth profile through software upgradation or any other tweak??
same for tv output? some AV adaptor or like?

hi guys, i also have the phone, talking about the pics comparison between n73 & k800, i still think that n73 is better. as n73 got bigger screen and brighter display, while i have compared to k800 at the shop, k800 is sort of darker and gloomy look, am i right? and the pics is not as sharp as n73's. well, thats my opponion, why people boost so much about the k800 camera ? just dont understand? its a phone only.after all k800 cant compare to the same grade camera at all.

Good phone. I just wished it would have taken pics like the Sony Ericson k800i.I had this phone for 1 month now.I was bragging about it until my friend bought the Sony Ericsson P990i which crushed my N73.

*** EZ! just plug mouse into pop port or buy a b/tooth wireless mouse.
and is it possible to set a full screen wallpaper ?

i tested the n73 of a fren moments ago..final verdict....keypad is just too small for fast,efficient typing of sms etc. i can type sms without looking at keypad, but with n73...it is not really possible....user friendliness takes a big hit
the rest all thumbs up....although camera features are definitely 1 notch below k800......

i ve one querry for the users of n 73. does the camera cover go loose after use of few days, this was reported by gsm arena in their review.

A smartphone can download more advanced applications than non-smartphones. They are more like computers. The downside is that they also have some issues (can often be fixed with new firmware). They also tend to be slower than common mobiles.
I don´t know about the photo calling.
I don´t think the new Symbians support fullscreen wallpaper, but they do support themes.

Can somebody tell me what is the latest firmware version of N73..and from where can I upgrade it. Please give me the complete steps about how to upgrade as this is my first Nokia Mobile. and it should be orginal.

No doubt camera is best among its 3.2mp competitors but camcorder is very bad (low resolution, jerks).
rest other features are best....
