Will the N73 work with Cingular in the US?
        I'm thinking about buying it.
I currently have a Motorola V80 that works on Cingular, but not that great.

I obtained the phone on an upgrade and returned it after a few days. The camera is first class but the phone froze 3 times when doing texts and I had to disconnect the battery to get it restarted. Its also a little bulkier than I expected.

To di: It's in Quezon City. It's also known as SM West. ^_^

              To CaRtz:

In Greenhills, N73 costs Php 25,500 w/ 1 year warranty @ any Nokia service center.
I'm sure after a month or two, its price will drop. Good luck!

              Ummm, cartz, asl? hehehe. ^_^

                    hi ,
nokia has finally copied sony ericsson's digicam type handsets viz., k 750 , k800 etc ,
these pohnes while using as a camera look and behave exactly as a cam ie., it is
designed to take pics in horizontal condition .

                        Hi Cartz,
Ask any Nokia Store Staff why their stuff is more expensive and they'll tell you the package includes the warranty. (that's one year free labor or firmware upgrade). However, I think their selling prices is still very high. In Greenhills you can buy the N73 for as low as P25,500.00. At Nokia store, they'll sell you N73 at P31,000 (cash) or P33,000 (card). Absurd ain't it?

Anyway, I think I'll get the N73 as soon as I have the guarantee that it isn't infected with the "freezing SMS bug". That's is so annoying for a every heavy texter like you and me.

With lots of bad feedbacks, I think buying the phone now would be risky. I think I will buy this phone a bit later, maybe November or December. I guess by that time, they have already updated the firmware and fixed those annoying bugs..Needless to say, n73 is a nice phone without the bugs

Ey yztian_71. I found the store; it's "cellway". It's the one across Dermclinic.. Their n73 is 26,800. I wasn't able to buy a unit awhile ago because they only accept BPI and Diner's club cc. They won't accept my freakin citibank cc. Darn. The n93 that they have costs Php 37,500. It's waaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper than buying at the Nokia store. Any idea why?

Can anyone tell me more about this 3D Sound System? It seems that it is another factor that sets the N73 and K800 and even N80 apart.

                                Dear N73 users,
Could you please inform me if the N73 is also affected by the "SMS freezing bug" that infects the N80? I plan to buy an N73 very soon because I just sold my infected N80. However, I'm hesitant because I might be sorry again shelling out big bucks for an infected phone? (i.e the N80 which I bought for P31K then)Don't get me wrong. I think the N80 is OK, except for that annoying bug, which freezez the phone for 30 secs to 1 min. each time I sent an SMS.
I have reason to be concerned about the bug because the N73, like the N80 runs on series 60 3rd edition OS. My GF's N71 is also infected by the bug. N71 runs on the same OS like the N80 and 73. Sad thing is, accroding to Nokia, this bug is not curable as of this time.
So please enlighten me... Your inputs shall be highly important to me..
                                SALAMAT...

                                    Hi a few quick questions:
                                    1. Can the led light be used as a flash light torch (like sony ericsson k750i, w800 and w810i?)
                                    2. Can you change the user interface so it is not grid mode but more like the drop down list of nokia icons like i've seen on the 6233?
                                    Many thanks
