Just got the N73 a few days -
1st thing from a recent post re the distorted sound when setting a mp3 as ringtone - I had to turn down the volume, and then it worked better...
Reading another post re the bluetooth connectivity, I remember flipping through the instruction book or the online demo and there being something about defining your bluetooth paired device eg pc, headset etc(ie it's not as simple as you think by just switching on the bluetooth via the bt icon)- I was mystefied when the phone wouldn't accept files blue-toothed from another phone - hadn't sorted it out yet, but just read the instructions again and check out the online help too....
This is my first smart phone, the menus and navigation are really quite complex compared to my last two phones (Sharp903 and SE K750) - it ain't the most intuitive phone to use;
Also there are notable pauses when switching screens, functions etc - it's obvious there's a processor at work in there;
Pictures from the camera are really good quality, natural colours etc;
Screen BIG and lovely quality - interesting that in camera mode there's a very noticable lag time though ('wavy screen effect')- even more than on the old SE K700;
Great reception;
Overly complex 'visual radio' milarky which tries to link online etc etc compared to SE using RDS;
PC software a bit weird - keeps on saying there's no phone linked, whilst it's busy transferring files - also a bit complex (see the bluetooth example above) - you need to spec that the phone asks you what function you will use every time you link w the data cable ie data-suite, music files - coz if you just default to any one allocated function (as was my original mistake), the phone won't accurately allocate files to the appropriate folder...
Final thing, still trying to work out why I can receive MMS messages, but the phone won't allow me (phone message reads: blah blah "not allowed" which seems very strict of the Finns) to send them out, despite a couple of attempts through a rather apologetic vodafone.
Overall, great phone with odd flaws (but then there wouldn't be any room for improvement), mainly due to some of the functionality being overly, perhaps unnecessarily complex. Like the best music, I can imagine growing to love this phone once it's become more familiar. But it ain't an instant crowd pleaser like the K750 or its spin-offs (W800, W810)..

Hi git a chance to listen agaon now to the N73, N91 and N80 all at the same time. If I haveto score on 1-10 for sound quality
A) Headsets (using in Box)
N91 - 9/10
N73 - 7/10
N80 - 6/10
B) Headsets (using my own BOSE)
N91 - 10/10
N73 - 7/10 (using a stupid adapter)
N80 - 6/10 (using a stupid adapter
c) Speakers
N73 - 8/10
N91 - 7/10
N80 - 5/10
In short if you want incredible Music sound then get the N91 (it has the special internal chip). Otherwise the N73 is a strong 2nd place for peopl who doe not have music as their number one priority.

@imad
If you know you're smart you would listen to me and pay no attention to those other somewhat ignorant people.
K800:
As you said before SE has experience with the walkman series.So obviously K800 will win in ALL aspects dealing with sound quality.
K800 beats n73 in flash,no explanation needed.
K800 has track ID which I find to be very useful.
K800 has more photographic options like bestpic etc.
K800 is a phone for technological persons.
Main cons:
The K800 joystick is rather stiff.
K800 video recording is in QCIF format hence,it is not very good.
N73:
Has a more ergonomic keypad,better joystick and is more user friendly than K800.
N73 records video in CIF format which simply means the video qualiy is better and it records fullscreen.
N73 has a bigger screen.
N73 is a phone for people who want a share of everything but still want satisfactory quality.
Main cons:
The flash is weak.
The sound quality in the headphones is not very good.
Symbian is known to produce slow processors but there is no telling whether or not this phone will be fast although persons have stated so.
I hope you'll make the right choice.
Please note that if I stressed the pros or cons of either phone doesn't mean that i'm taking sides.
Cheers!

i recieved my n73 on thursday it is unbelievable,however when i set mp3 as a ringtone & someone rings the sound goes all distorted & the phone freezes up,there is either a firmware prob or it is because i havnt got a memory card yet and the phone has dynamic memory and it is struggling to ring!
vodafone said they will replace the handset but i think it will b the same because it is not shipped with a memory card!!!

Been using N73 since Thursday - see earlier post- It has locked up 3 or 4 times whilst using it and i don't think the picture quality is as good as the SE K800i. Find the sound quality a bit thin - not enough bass even through the headset it comes with. If I keep it will probably get audio adapter to use with Sennheiser 300 ear canal headset. Looking at the pix of the N93 on GSMArena, can't see that the pix on that model are so great either! Trouble is, if you want a phone/camera go for Nokia. If you want a camera/phone then go for SE. I think!

@eric chan
Who the hell are you kidding?N73 is an awesome phone I ust admit but NEVER will it beat the walkman series ESPECIALLY when compared through headphones.N73 is a camera based phone.If you said n91 I would understand.Look man,n73 is just not a music phone.Get your facts right.

hello, if you see the preview of gsmarena of the n93 you can see that the photos taken whit the nokia are worse that the ones taked whit the sony ericsson, that means that if you think this model can beats in camera the the sek800, you are dreaming, but this next week im going to buy this nokia n73. ;) take care, one cuestion, the speaker's are higher that in n80 model?????

Sold my K800 & bgt this N73 last nite.
The camera works very well in the daytime or under bright environment with the auto focus.
Video is 352X488 (MPEG4) not VGA 640X480, so far I think the best video is model 6280 (n93 not out yet).
The flash similar to N80 but battery performance are much better than N80(Owned N80 before K800).
The stereo speakers are solid as it has speakers on top and below of the phone (beside the card slot).
The phone comes with the anti-virus software.
