    hi
just got this phone yesterday and its as good as it says.... only con ithat i can see is its slightly heavier then expected but the screen more than makes up for this.
taken a couple of pictures and the focussing is very fast and sharp... i used to have a k750i which took longer to take a snap.
browsing the internet is also spot on as my old k750i used to bomb out with not enough memory... but this phone loads anything so far. rated this 9/10 as functionality is the best, just lacking wlan really.. if it were smaller it would be perfect.

Hey guys FOUND A REVIEW of the N73, FINALLY.

Not extremely detailed but by far the best I've seen so far. Follow the link.

      http://www.techenclave.com/forums/nokia-n73-review-75957.html

BTW I got myself the K800i, an exceptional beauty that I would not trade for any phone available at the moment. I think better camera than N73, but the N73 is good enough. For Flickr and smartphone-obsessed, the N73 will be their first and foremost choice, and I'm 100% sure that the N73 will be an absolutely stunnig success.
For those preferring stylishness and the most beautious camera shots, it'll be the K800i. imho.

I am planning on getting the N73 and it is absolutely stunning! it has almost all the features of N93 but at a much cheaper price. I can't wait to get my hands on this beauty! The OS is very convuinving and takes a lil' bit of getting used to, and the main thing is it is very sleek, i.e. it isn't bulky, even with 3g. But how much is the price of da fone exactly?!?

Hello?!?! does anyone know if the back part of the n73 can slide in to protect the camera lens?

Full of firmware problems, nokia please stop playing with people. They keep launching mobiles which lack in stability & the price is too high when the price comes down they launch something new with all most the same options & the problems still there. N80, N90, N91 & now N73 non of them 100% stable, out of the N-Series only N70 was the one that had no firmware problems. Please people stop praising Nokia so that they stop cheating with the customers.

y r u guys treating the n73 as if there is no flash?just because it doesnt have xenon flash doesnt mean it is useless at night.there is a led flash which although is not as strong as the xenon flash is still good enough for most cases.and it being cybershot is just for marketing reasons.if u look at the sony cybershot digital cameras u can see the carl zeiss label on it.i think u SE fanboys are getting desperate.

its now, remenber the k750i USE A LED FLASH, same goes to other sony ericsson models also it top line p990 that its not out yet. LED flash its not as strong as the xenon flash but it WORKS AS A FLASH just from a lesser distance. and nokia flashes are powerful. i use my n80 which isnt even camera oriented in night clubs and it produces night results.

                    comparison

                    n73
                    pros
                    1. good 3.2 megapixel camera
                    2. better video recording capability
                    3. symbian os
                    4. supposedly fast processor
                    5. nice design

                    cons
                    1. since its symbian, its vulnerable to viruses, crashes, freezing and corruption
                    2. no xenon flash, so useless when taking pictures if your in a night club or your with friends in a dark place where there's no option to open the light or rely on street lights for additional lighting
                    3. music player but no walkman-like features like megabass
                    4. camera module no cybershot-like features such as best-pic, multiburst, picture stabilizer, red eye reduction etc.
                    5. new symbian os with hardly be compatible with most softwares nowadays (but in a matter of time it wouldn't be a problem)

so if you want a phone that has all buy n73
but if you want a phone that camera is really important to you than all other features buy k800.
if you want a phone that a musicplayer is the most important feature on the phone buy the walkman series.

you see XENON flash is now an industry standard for mobile phones with camera...

OBVIOUSLY spearheaded by sony ericsson k800...

Ordered it today from Nokia as an upgrade for £35. Bought a 2 GB memory card too. Will be here tomorrow :)

I'm a bit worried that there have been no reviews of this one pre-launch, I hope they are not covering up any problems...

In my idea, there will be not much different in camera quality between N73 and K800 due to the fact that both Nokia and SE are famous for camera phone.

However N73 is better interm of taking video (who needs 176x144 video in K800, it sucks)
Plus, N73 has lots more functions such as EDGE, Push to talk, 3D sterio speakers and especially Symbian OS which means u can do much more with ur phone by installing more applications in it (Better for entertainment and business). K800 may good at sound quality but u can't do anything more than the fixed functions embed in the phone and u'll feel boring after short time using it

Moreover, the design of N73 is cooler (K800 seems bulky)
                              Cheers Nokia

c'on Gsmarena, please make a review of this phone and a comparision interms of camera and video between N73, N93 and K800 soon to make the all people stop argueing endlessly.
All the 3 phones are out, right.

To all pp who don't have both N73 and K800 in hands : Stop argueing by just guessing which one is better. We will see it clearly after the review. It would be fair

umts hsdpa will be the name of the new 3g network in canada

motorola just came out with a phone that has hsdpa but no 850 for north america

i hoape the servise provider or nokia will have a firmware update on n73

why motorola when sony ericsson and rogers are building 3h hsdpa (3.5g) network in canada.

enny way s motorolla has no symbian and they are known to be frigile

if i can throw a 6682 on ciment 10 times without it braking i cant wait to see how solid this phones is considering the value and the features it better be a solid phone
