After half an hour of use, I have to return phone back to shop because of the malfunctioning hinge component. I got a new phone which has been a real nightmare. Software crashes has been a 'normal' daily stuff, phone does not remember date and time so every time when I power on this phone, I have to feed in correct time and date. I made an update for phone software but it does not help at all to these problems.
Camera picture quality is a bad, I was not expecting to get such a bad camera quality from N series phone. Also camera button is very difficult to use because you need to press that button so heavily that you get phone shaken and this way picture will be blurred.
After 26 days of use, I notice that phone chromed coated (or plated) areas start to wear off... Now this phone look so terrible, flip component outer surface chromed area under of the small display has been lost its coating and there is just a plain plastic visible anymore.
I hope this unit is just a special case, otherwise this will be a real flop product for Nokia. I have to return this 2nd unit back to dealer and got a 3rd phone from there. Hopefully that is a little bit better than those two others.

Guys, before i get this phone i rode some comentaries about it, but was kinda dissapoingting to only see things like "Its a design copy of razr" or people what dont know how to treat things with soft care and got upset cause the phone has scratches, there were only a few commentaries that worth to be readed in like 50 pages, but then i decided to try this phone, and this is what i think of it.
Design . well it indeed look like razr but hey that is not the real point, even tough is a bit big it looks amazing, very modern and elegant i like it a lot.
Features . what to say, in this it is like the N95 in a lot of points, the screen looks extremely good, the little one with 256k colors look very cool, i also have to make a commentary about all the things that u can do with the phone when its closed, the buttons outside the phone help u with things like camera(u can use all the menus from the outside) the playlist for the people who like to hear music, check ur lost calls and also read mms and some more than i cant remember right now, its really nice to not to open the phone for all this things, what about the rest?, the menues and all, well it look like an n73 or any N series at the inside so ill not make any comentary about it (but hey all N series menues are easy to handle so they ar cool)
Perfomance . well all the things on the phone work nice, the main problem could be the battery, but u can charge it like half hour or less and its completely full again.
Cons . well when battery is low it start to work slowly or some bugs start to appear, the best is to turn it off and recharge it,
that is what i have to say about the phone, im happy with it and i could recommend it to any person who might be interested on it.

to buy this phone i had to sell all my panties ,tooth brushes and my BMW 7 series .so i recommend to every1 becoz,to buy this phone io struggled a lot.

other thoughts: ummm DON'T BUY THIS PHONE !!!!!!!!!!
u will hate ur self. the colour will peel off with the most gentle touch. the software is horror restarting every 5min.
do ur self a favour don't buy this phone.

guys,didnt you guys come across wikipedia before buying the cellphone?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nokia_N76 it clearly says its "a first of kind in the family of “cheap” 3G smartphone"check it out for yourself...

i hate this phone..

if i were you guys..
choose another phone..
i think the price of n76 and n92 here at the philippines were somewhat the same.. im not sure.. but i saw one store at a mall n76 = 20,000 and n92 = 19,200...
go for n92... even though its big.. its much better...

Hey!I had just bought N76 lastweeks. I'm happy when using it but unfortunately sometime when i was listening music it sudently restart. I dont know how to overcome this stuff. It drives me crazy..pls help me...

I m facing n76 cosmetic problem.I have changed my phone once through nokia.But again I m facing this problem wat shud i do?Even it is not starting on.So again I have handed over to them but they are tellin it wil take 15 days which is disgusting.So u can show in ur Serial that not 2 buy N76.Many of my friends are not satisfied with n76.Cosmetic is the silver finish given on cover and back comes out completely.Please take some action.I can hand over my friends cell to u.For showing it on your tv channel.Nokia people are saying they wont change our piece because it is cosmetic problem so we are not concerned.I m really frustrated by this.Should sew them.
Please do accordingly.

i've had this phone for about two or three weeks and it's not giving me any problems. in fact i would recomend this phone to everyone!

it`s overall a good phone
good sound
no 9.2 software till now but will come soon
mobigenie official answering machine for n95 is said to be ok for n76,,nope..people say it freezes..yes if you install software not made for it//..like handy taskman..it froze or gave system error`s..tried another it worked ok..trecall made it freeze..that`s software prob`s..i like phones n80 uses all the software for 9.1..n95 some work and some don`t..n76 poor phone no one listen`s..but if good software is used i dont think it freezes atall..you want a call recorder an answering machine go for samsung sgh250..all built in..but if you want to make n76 as you want please check the software before you install..over all good earpiece good sound good phone bookgood looking ..well the battry lifes not that good but if your looking for a slim phone how do you expect a thin phone with a large battry...if used corectly the battry is ok..

bought this phone 3 weeks ago.. so far the chrome plating is still perfect. i guess that the chrome peeling depends on how the phone is used or protected. for me i use a case.. don't believe to users saying that the chrome peels off after a week.. go buy this fone.. this phone is a head turner... trust me.. :)

ive had this phone for about 4 months and none of the silver has came off like all of you have said. but it does freeze when i usually get a text and i push the buttons to many times on the front.
so im liking the phone so far but i already want to new one.

This phones quality sucks. The silver finish on the phone is peeling away from the first day I got it. I cant believe Nokia did not pay close attetion to detail.

This phone is a disappointment. It is difficult to open. The software freezes up. It is not practical. If I had to choose between the Razr and another N76, the Razr would win out.
