hey joe..
keep the n73 dude...this phone is good for looks but feature wise n73 is better.....if not for the peelin issue this phone wuld have pleased all users....but even if peelin isn there n73 is rich feature wise...soo keep it..ig not buy n95 ca thats the only phone that can beat any phone ....

Its a very good looking phone, but it has a very sevsre problem of hanging. So i personally request Nokia to look into the matter.

This is a good phone. Yet it almost carries the same features as the Nokia E65. Both phones are 2MP, both phones are *SMART* but though the E65 does not have radio. That does not matter because you can download a program and install it on to the E65 in order to listen to radio stations.

hey guys...after reading the review i was in a dilemma whether to buy d phone or no....but i culdnt resist the looks of d phone...it looks awesome..everyone notices it when u use it....but then just after 5 days the thing i was scared of happened..the silver started peeling off...i really cant understand why such materials have been used...really annoying....i own an n95 n n91 8gb...im a die hard nokia fan...have used all phones...never seen such a problem in any other models...but the good thing is that they will replace my phon...ive already given it for replacement...but after gettin the replacd phone i think i wont have it with me ill probably sell it n get some other phone....but for those out there whose phones r not peeling are the luckiest guys...caz the phone is really cool feature wise n ounctionality wise...flip is a lil hard to open with single hand initially but wil get used to it as time goes on....processor is really really quick...better than even n95....hope this information was useful...cya guys....

the silver coating peels.. I bought my n76 2weeks ago and noticed the sides of the phone peeling already. Is this under warranty of nokia. Do they replace? My previous phone n70 was still in very good condition after i bought it a year ago. (no scratches, i mean). But this is my first time to have a nokia phone looking so ugly and old after having it bought for nearly two weeks!

Hi Friends,
I want to buy a flip up type N series...N71 and N76 are the only flip type N series...compared to N71 , N76 looks good
so I had the thought of buying N76..But after seeing the mixed opinions i am having a dilemma whet to buy N76??? Help me out!!
Then how about N 73 ME????Plz give me some suggesstion!

At a moment, i wanted this phone !!
I wanted it very much!
But a saw it in a shop and it was too big, reaaly!
From nokia i like the 6500 slide except the back when it's open!
Moreover, the 6500 slide is beter than this one!

I got this phone 4 weeks ago. Not a single problem, doesnt crash, faster than other N-series phone (had the N71). The paint does not peel, I keep it in my denim pocket and use it a lot. Not a single scratch. Fingerprints show easily though, no problem.

I initially posted about the peeling - stating i tried scratching my phone with my nails and noticed nothing happened. Well this test was done on the silver on the front of the phone. I have tried this with the sides of the phone and it does indeed peel. Just noticed today a quarter of the right side has now just disappeared.

to xtelle well i think n76 is better than v6 maxx coz m havin it n it is not disturbing me not even any mistake in it is founded but yes it is true that paint peels off but only the silvery paint...however camera quality is not too gud as well as not bad but vedio quality is incredible....however i go for it

Yes, the phone hangs quite frequently, and i had to send it for repair just three days of using, afterwhich it still keeps restarting on itself so i had to send it for repairs again. Now the handset still hangs sometimes when i play its mini games, so i try to avoid that.Not only the videos, it hangs when i play sound clips too. Overall...this phone is a big disappintment.

its simply a show piece. Good to be used once a week for important dinners. Only for the look... The paint does chip off and it hangs often too! The first week i had it was blissful, later its only a regret!

It doesn't peel if you're a girl, who treat your phonecell like a jewelery & keep it very well in a silk pocket or something soft. but as man, who don't have enough time to do those girly things, this phone is just not for me...
so... i just try to give you an opinion here. the decission is all up to you. IT'S A COMPUTER DONE BEAUTIFULLY, so it wanted to be treat beautifully also.

I have had had this phone for 3 days and i only describe it as brilliant, the physical quality is nothing short of excellent and it handles everything easily. the keypad is a work of art and shows motorola how it should be done. weel done Nokia

Hey endlessz,I have exactly the same firmware.Now it looks to me as a hardware fault.this prob was there from the day I bought it.It hangs during Video playback,all kinds of videos esp the ones recorded with the phone. AND FOR MOTO V6 LOVERS.DONT EVEN TRY TO COMPARE IT WITH N76,COZ V6 IS NO WHERE NEAR N76.IT IS JUST LIKE COMPARING A DONKEY WITH A HORSE.V6 SUCKS!
