im using the black ones and i dont know about the white one and its true that it sometimes hang but not that much, its a rare thing to happen..about once in two weeks - three weeks..very RARE!!!
but its a great phone after all and the earphone quality is good but not great, just buy other earphones if ure not happy with the quality of earphone..

cherish, 16 Jan 2010hmmm,, i already go again to Nokia center, they said must c... moreohh..why is your phone like that? mine is realy working well and is your phone out of warranty? cause if its in warranty, i must be free..1 warranty parts&service from nokia.

this phone really rocks, ive installed dictionary,and every 3rd party applications and widgets like youtube, facebook, cnn, yahoo.. u can watch here the videos of youtube..full screen and landscape mode..

This phone really sucks... most of the features are not appropriate. Also, the answer & end keys are too small compared to the large keypad available. Not worth for daily n frequent use... only good factor is the camera however, that too hangs... as there is plenty of applications running. All the dictionery doesnt work unless word databse is install. My sincere opinion to all readers... pls avoid this phone... its a waste of your money n time. Also, the auto theme changing sucks as it keeps changing if the phone is being held tight. Take my word i felt Nokia 6125 worked better for me than this one.

for those of u dat experience hanging while taking vids..just format the memory card..i did that nd i stopped experiencing the hanging..i dnt realy like the camera..it once made me look low in front of my frnds n95...actually its ,my 2nd n79..i used the white colour b4 exchanging it with the black colour 4rm my dad...the whites just v20 nd d black v30..but the white is faster than the black nd its clearer in terms of the camera..nw why is thAT

this is the worst phone i have ever came across in my life..... i bought this on 1 st jan 2010 and within in a day i landed in trouble with this phone...... frequent hanging......the navi wheel which is the speciality of this phone will not work properly......worst quality panels and accessories for a smart phone......on the whole its waste of money... also nokia's quality nowadays are not up to standards.....

Hi users of N79, may I ask one question from you people that can flash light be kept on while making wideo, it has been no where provided in the user guide of this phone and the customer care of nokia also have the same view that flash light doesn't light while capturing wedio, but some where I have read in this opinion section that it works, can you people describe for me that how it works? I want to have flash light on while making wideo film.

i love nkia n79 a lot ....i like d features nd design my n79 is color white nd nver hangs comes wit xpress changeable back covers green.sky blue, nd brown n79 got great cam.plus large screen nd has so many advanced features compared to n82 nd n79's middle selector key's flashing a sensor light even not use just standyby its cool wit secondary cam.
