if you want a touch, go for 5530, it has more sensitive touch than 5800 and looks better, because it´s smaller and has chrome on the front. The 5800 looks like a plasticky brick if you compare it to the 5530.
If you want normal keypad, go for N79. Great reception, great camera, great look, great call quality.

Gilly Rocket''', 08 Oct 2009Hai, can u give me opinion and advice for which phone to bu... moreWell dunno abt 5530 OR 5730 XM since both of dem r nt available as of yet here in India but between N79 and 5800 xm its ur personal preference as both r equally gud in their segments i.e. n79 as a really gud fone with hardware keypad and 5800 as a really gud fone in touchscreen fone...

Among this N79 and 5730XM attracts me lot.

N79 is very good and wonderrrrrrrrrrrfullllllll! phone camera is very nice of 5 mg. and it s having greate display.

but I cant install Theams.
i want to make my own theames.Same like themes diy For nokia n73. this soft wrae not working in my nokia n79.
any body can tell me how can i get that software.

@All People Having N79 with Firmware v30.019
Please all owners kindly lemme know whether after upgrading your Phone to this current version do any of u is facing problem in reading or writing contacts from your SIM?? After the update my phone suddenly developed this issue and bluetooth too didn't work so I was forced to give the Phone to Nokia Care Centre for 10-12 Days and hence had to use this copy to SIM and read from it restore my contacts but now its not happening in v30.019 but the SIM is readable in all other phones and only my handset is not reading or writing to any SIM but v20 didn't had this issue. The Nokia Care Guys say that the firmware has this bug so please confirm if you ppl too hve same issue as mine in v30.019.

I bought this phone last week(N79 black)..very nice phone..build quality is great music is good..camera is good in day light not so good @ night.ofcourse am not going for a night photography hence its ok with me.accelerometer is some what annoying as it wont sense properly.overall my rating is 4/5 to this sweet phone...

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970hiiiiiiii..i got my new nokia n79 15days ago..its a nice fone.the music was above expectations to me and my frnds though the ear-phones are not good at all. camera is also nice.day light fotos are really good.the problem will be in night bcoz it don't have xenon flash. overall iam happy that i have made a good choice..
