Hi guys, i lookin forward to go for good mobile, which really suits for my needs. I am plannin to go for two models. One is nokia N79 and other sony ericsson W705. I have already posted my question on W705 reader opinions. And i want to know from nokia N79 users about this phone. As i compared the specifications these two models are very much similar to each other in all conditions. There is both in these two models. Actually, i have almost taught of buying this model.... But i am not fully 100% satisfied. As all of you know, N series are very much concerned for entertainment. The main thing i am afraid of going for this model is that it won't stand last to use for long term users. As i have already experienced with nokia N73. I frequently use to get some problem with that mobile. I used that model for 6 months then i switched to sony ericsson W810. Its a legend.... My nokia N79 had slowed down after 4 months and got 2 time formatted within 6 months of usage..... So thats why i want to know from all you whether these problems will occur in N79..... I am not concerned about its camera or music player and other media things. My only thing about this mobile is for its performance. All of you know this mobile comes with 83 mb system memory. So there will be only 50 MB for share usage memory.... And that is where the mobile is getting lacked of its mobile RAM Speed. The reason for selecting this model because after seeing many models, i am getting many good comments in many mobile phone blogs about this model and sony ericsson W705. So i want not only from the user of nokia N79 to tell about their good exprnce form this mobile, and help me to select which model out of this two .... And please also see my question regarding the same queries from W705 reader opinions. I am waiting for your reply.... Thank you:-):-):-).

Hey guys 5730XM is surely the competitor. Yesterday i went to my frnd's party and i saw both d handsets N79 & 5730XM. Hands on experience of both the handsets are really cool. 5730 weighs slightly more than N79, but the 5730 screen colours are highly bright than N79. Both handsets keypads are somewhat tight to press. 5730XM Contacts bar in d Home screen is really sexy and the scrolling contacts is like kinetic scrolling in touchscreen mobiles. Night Pictures r same no differences in power of single led & Dual led. But in day pics N79 done their 5mpix job truely. Dedicated cam button on 5730 is cramp like the same 5800.
5800 camera pics are noisy when compared it to 5730 pics, both are 3.2mpix.
May be 3.2 is not enough for 5800, b'cas resolution of the screen is higher than 3.2mpix resol....
Guys tommorow sound quality, battery, build quality, N GAGE experience, UI, in call & signal strength and more waiting for u.

By the way i want to correct that n79 is the best set i hav ever seen ......
it is the best value fr money....
it has all the latest features available ....with a dashing 5 mp. camera ...
frnds if u agree with my openion go for n79 and u will feel the difference ......

hey pls help me out... i m planning to buy a new cell in the diwali period.... i m very much interested in n79... is it good for college goers? my priorities are music, camera and battery life.... pls suggest any other phone also if its better but n series only... i very much dislike the xpress music edditions.

kindly update your phone's firmware to v30 by taking it to nokia care or if you know how to update via Nokia softwrae updater or via OTA than do it urself ASAP.

Guys,
I have a new issue in my Mobile (N79), display is suddenly disappearing and i have to restart the mobile (Some times reboot also not working). Before restarting the mobile i am seeing only blank screen (I am seeing hang screen before mobile display disappear). but all other functions are working for Ex Camera, calling a person from dialed/received call log...have anyone faced this issue....my phone software version is 11.049. i am from India.....
Any one has any idea how to rectify this issue.....?....

Hey who all r confused b/w n79 n n82....i ll suggest n79 bcez it provides lot more feature than n82 and video flash light also......and one more thing n82 price is about 13k(in Mumbai)....and dat of n79 is 16K.......
so it's better to hav latest technology than having a bulky and f**k off phone (n82).....bcez evrythng is not CAMERA..........
