Jr, 05 May 2009Hi guys Im planning to buy this phone but comments said tha... moreCamera is very good on daylight, but is not good in dark, because of flash. Back cover have some chrome border (frame-where is camera and flash) and when you take picture with flash there is reflection from there, from that chrome frame, to camera lens. That is not good on that phone :-((

can any one let me know that how to turn off sleep mode in N79..I tried it,but in all settings screen turns black.I want time and date displayed..it lets us know any miscall or msg.

NOKIA N79 REVIEW by Aditya
This is Aditya and I bought a Nokia N79 last week and I am finding it a really interesting phone. It has a 5 Mega pixel camera with LED flash and has got the best picture quality in compare with the other Nokia N-Series Phones. The sound quality is relatively good and the navigation is brilliant too. Its video quality is superb and web browser is same as other Symbian S60 3rd edition Phones but you can also stream direct flash videos from any websites which is one of the most interesting feature I found in this phone. There are hardly any cons in this phone but if you will ask one, the only con is that it takes a little long for Nokia Maps to open. Overall its a best buy phone in its price segment.

when i swith on my fone my joystic's light does'nt glow but when i go to gallary and exit after some time then joystick start golwing,, is that normal.....

this is a good phone but one thing i found that its back lights goes off while using net.i dont know whether it is hardware problem or this is by default.
i checked all the setting but i could not solve the problem.kindly advise.

how was the speaker of the phone?
which do u think is louder? Nokia N95 8GB or Nokia N79.
I have this Nokia N95 8GB before and i find it just fine.
I don't rely on their own sound testing in GSMArena. I want something a user can say actually from their actual experience with the phone.

i need to know if the n79 can handle 16gb memory cards?!
i supose that they (gsmarena) could give that info in the n79 review...but no.
i need help plz, answer only if you tested or know someone who tested the 16gb card on n79 or n85(it's similar).thks

I have purchased this phone and iam really HAPPY with its performance and LOOKS but..... few Bugs after updating the firmware to Firmware V11.049. some examples are
-Can Not Store Voice Mailbox Number
-Still Screesaver backlight issue.

OMEGA, 05 May 2009 U r wrong. Nokia N79 has only 96MB of system RAM.. U can ... moreno it has 128 ram memory I have n79.

Hi guys Im planning to buy this phone but comments said that Its camera is bad? I really loved to take pictures. Does the camera really bad? or just an average compared to 5800's poor Camera which I have. Im switching to n79 because Im tired of using 5800. Im confused if n82 or n79. I like n82 because of its Xenon Flash but n79 has dual LED Flash and changeable covers unlike n82, you stuck at white and black

i just bought this phone 4 days ago , its amazing phone , full of features , but i have a small issue , when i use the navigate wheel , i hear a tikky voice , its not high voice , but i care for a very small details , did anyone face the same issue ,and what do you think is the reason ??
