Anonymous, 23 Mar 2009Can anyone tell me if the n79 can minimize applications and... moreyeah it can. EVERY SYMBIAN BASED PHONE can run multiple applications at the same time.
Comparing it with a SE wouldnt be fair to the SE, they're enitrely diffrnt platforms with a different fan following.

Can anyone tell me if the n79 can minimize applications and run other apps aswell at the same time like sony ericsson, and also how does the battery compare to most sony ericsson phones? thanks in advance!

This phone is more suitable for females due to the look and keypad. the keypad is small. If you have big fingers, you can forget about it!!!All the features of this phone are very good guys. I give this phone a 8.0 out of 10.

i bought this phone yesterday..
n it seen everything was excellent...i like it very much without any regret...
thing that i dislike this phone is only the keyboard...
is quite hard to press it...

the most beautiful and full featured phone first time ever from Nokia is the cute N79, I brought it for $425 recently.. 5MP Camera with ultimate resolution for video shooting and still images.. New Features like FM transmitter and changing theme automatically while changing the back cover and many more..

I purchased the seal grey US version of this phone back in early February and I must say I absolutely love it. I previously had an N93 and while I generally enjoyed that phone, it was cumbersome to carry around.
Once I loaded the battery into my N79 I knew we were meant to be! It feels so light yet it has most if not all of the features of modern smart phones. Even though the n79 isn't built like a tank like the n82, or my last phone the n93, it is far from "cheap" feeling as the lack of extra parts (slide or flip) make it feel quite durable or even rugged. In order to keep the screen from getting scratched I applied a DuraSec brand heavy duty screen protector and threw all fears of damaging the screen out the window. I used one for my n93 and when I sold it the screen was still in perfect condition.
If I had to not recommend this phone to anyone it would be to people with large hands. If you have large hands you will clearly need a larger phone with larger buttons. The buttons on my n93 were incredible! The buttons on the n79 are slightly cramped for texting and I can imagine would be impossible for anyone with large hands to use.
The rating for this phone seems about right to me, it combines style with function and is ideal for everyday use. Most importantly though is the price, for 400USD you get a great looking phone that you can almost never have to worry about getting roughed up. Personally, carrying an n97 around at all times would make me nervous lol

and rag your ragged lol if you think n82 is a good phone its tooooooooooooooooo big and dopey its tooooooo big it looks like a dummy phone too big and slow but im not in that forum saying n82 is crap like you are in here , gsm arena look at these 2 people and look further back to see what they have been saying i dont think its consistant so barr them please oh rag your not bad at english lol

to abin regret it why i now have 2 n79 so nope dont regret it love it good phone , and if you hate this phone why you in this forum lol if you dont like it go in another forum where you from with a name like a bin in english it means put it in the dust bin eg abin lol well i like this phone that much i think i will buy 1 for my mate , oh abin just realised where your from with your url the name explaines it all now , got to go got to put my empty phone box in the bin abin lol

i like this phone that much that ive now bought the petrol black version now to go with my seal grey one , they say the black one has less packing , well nearly gave me a heart attack when it cam thought it was a letter but yes the phone is there , really pleased with the handsetts now , the black one looks smaller because of the colour ,

just wondering, since I'm planning to buy a phone, which one is better between N79 and E51?? Most likely I'll take the black color for either phone
camera is not on top of my list, so 2mp or 5mp is no big deal for me

i have used n79 for 2 month,but i just want to know about one thing,about it cpu?
in gsmarena it says 369 MHz,but when i check using X-plore,it says 192 MHz(under device info)???
Is there any mistake?anyone have same problem?or my phone is problem?
Please,anyone tell me the result of their phone..
