if n82 is graded as 10, then this would be 10.5
better os and better looking than the n82, a welcomed member of the N family.

my brother bought an n82 before. he too had no smileys them. later, he received an update from maxis (telco service provider). now his n82 has smileys and emoticons :)
maxis does not have this for the n79 yet :(

Can anyone plz tell me how to activate following setting for N79.
1) Flight Mode
2) Edit Business Card Data.
Also if it possible, let me know more details about flight mode option.

there is a firmware update given for nokia n79 guys..
10.045 is the previous firmware version..
now it is updated to 10.046..
check it out and update ur mobiles guys and ladies..
and pls tell me what are the added features added now..
i had updated my mobile but couldn't find any difference except the speed in the processing..
can anybody pls tell me.. by the by i m from India..

I have Bought N79 yesterday in Pakitan in 340euro and i found it the most beautifull looking and more well performing than previous nseries phones.
Dimensions Wieght and Build Quality is EXCELLENT.
In Camera and video recor. i feel no difference than N82.
But in Music quality it is diffenitly above N82. Loudspeakers produce good sound and enough loudness (but not as loud as 6233, N91 N73 still loud)
Software is very stable(during 36 hours as i have used) usaually new nseries phones hangs and restarts so much as done in N82/N85/N96 etc.

just one doubt in my head, is the keypad hard to press on, especially for typing sms. Coz last week when i hold the dummies... ohh... its so hard to type. hope its just the dummy. Please any input for N79 user...

just iam using one month back ,its best for n82 /speed internet browsing/any more its good better then other high end nokia cells.

i would choose N79 for sure,
for camera, xenon certainly win the battle but for video rec, dual flash are more ++
also... slimmer, fm transmitter, newer technology, newer OS, battery life...
3D GAMING??? well im not into gaming so much so prefer N78/N79 , but if u do, choose N82.
