Hi,
I am planing to buy N79. I read all the comments posted on this site.
But i heard that usually 'N' series nokia phones hangs as the memory capacity of the phone increases.
Is this true in the case of N79?
I basically look for:
- Good camera
- Good music (i always listen to music)
- support Conference calls
- Great Looks
- And mobile software should be fast
Actually i liked the iPhone 3.5G but i felt its bulky and would be a bit nusence to keep it in the pocket so dropped that idea.

monty panasar, 11 Nov 2008thanks for the reply, one more question - When you play ... morewell monty...u cant exit the prog...it only has the quick buttin as hide...but if u do decide to click options and choose exit then next time you on it...you ll have to start the song from its begining ( which ever song that was running )

Julie, 11 Nov 2008You may think the white is better than grey but thats a mat... moreyes you are right! but actually i wanted to say that the white one is hip and happening but the grey one is sophisticated!its like the white one is music xpress but the grey one is e-series!

zaheed, 11 Nov 2008today was the second day with this phone! i browsed 4 hours... moreo and forgot 2 tell about the music !its just awesome!the best in nseries! and if u use a good head phone then its lyk heaven!(i have a Bose in ear!)love the keypad!except for the menu and cancel button!which might cum in the wy if u r browsin horizontally!
build quality is unquestionable!mine 1 lukss and feels like a classy set of E-series!
well what can i say the two led flash is really bright!(yes i know not as bright as xenon but its awesome!)
finally 1 lst thing!i was always in love with nokia as it is my 9th nokia set and the only company i ever used!but now i am just crazy fanatic of nokia!Go Nokias! and i am waiting for 5800tube!but even if i have dat i would never give up my sexiest lookiing nseries of ll time(read the "s" thing 0 times) away!enjoy!

today was the second day with this phone! i browsed 4 hours continuously using wifi! anthen 1 more hour using edge!tok 38 photos!made a 5 min long and 2 of 3 min long video! talked for atleast half an hour!send 8 sms es! and was always on music from 7 am to 10 pm!and i came back home with only 2 stick of charge taken away from the full charge!wwwwwwwwwwwwwwoooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
this must be a record for nokia!super i just love this phone!didnt even hang once!super fast!the net was awesome!the pages was as clear as pc!(played a lot of facebook games in it!) love the auto rotate! and also mastered the navigation pad!
and another thing i noticed when i was walking through a very sunny dy!the sunlight legibility is superb!
but there is one problem!it is quite a new platform!so not to many softwares r out there!and do not have backward compatibility!
another thing is that today i couldnt download any suff like music! and couldnt watch youtube!can any 1 help why?(u may ask den if i didnt do ne of those den wat did i do in net for 5 hrs!simple Facebook!)!please thasnking u in advance for letting me know!
and i hav another regret ,unfortuntely i got the silver version(white 1 wasnt available!coz they only brought 4 sets in whole Bangladesh! of the set!though it looks more classy but its boring!so ne1 wanting some coolness go for the white one!but still this phone is the best nokia ever made!and one last thing!it might not hav xenon but the photo quality is great and with dual led's u can tke night videos which u cant do with xenono!so ur choice on that!

Can anyone please let me know how to increase loudspeaker volume even if speaker volume at 100%? Is there any other internal setting available for adding sound effect?

that auto-rotate is really cool...
it's the phone i ever seen got the almost perfect specs in this generation..
that software is stable and never got any trouble..
thta is what a phone i expected...
i should buy..
although the price is reasonable...
but really cheap..
hehe
so just wait and see...

awesome phone! just bought it today! wow what a great looker! super!and whats the fuss about vibration? mine one works even in general and silent mode! camera is great!well n82 mayb better! but even a gunpoint was held on my head still i woudnt have bought that hidious looking phone!super fast! admit that the navi wheel needs some getting used to! but apart from that supeer phone!music quality beats my ipod! awesome !the best looking nseries!mine one is seal grey!and i am from Bangladesh!here it costs 26900tk means 400 dollar almost!
