This is just one more in line of lookalikes of Nokia. I am already tired of their arrogance and their refusal to listen to customers. This is one of main reasons why they keep losing market from year to year. At the end they will leave us to Koreans and Japanese manufacturers. I am long time Nokia user, but this is too much. Why is every phone almost same as previous?! Why there is no movement from boring design? It is like SE! phone that costs 50 eur looks like phone that costs 500 EUR! And N79?! What is target customer for this? Happy gay population, mama's sons? C'mon!

Unless one is requiring advanced on-board TV and video capabilities (N96) or want greater on-board storage with the new display technology (N85) it is clear that the N79 offers an equally amazing array of technology and should sell very well.

the design of this phone is very pretty, so pretty in fact, that it does not suit a dude like me, i think i'll get an n82 instead

i guess both n85 and n79 are for men and women... they just have to like it!
after all n85 is black and elegant for a man and sexy sleek slider for woman (for men too, i don't like carrying a brick)and n79 is a simple candybar but at the same time good looking for men who don't like sliding and there's also dark colors of xpress-on covers(for those who don't want to get so much attention or look "feminine") and the same covers come in colors for women to choose their favorite

for me... N79 is a man's fone.
because men are somewhat not fond of sliding thingy.
