theariezman, 09 Sep 2008Well Mike and Ronnie I didn't say that N79 or N85 is bad.... moreThe differences between the N79, N85, and the N82 are not substantial enough for you to consider not sticking with your N82. Unless you want the Symbian S60 Feature Pack 2 or the ability to geo-tag your photos, and have a slimmer device, or in the case of the N85, you want to play games and also would like the new display technology, I would suggest you stick with the N82, this is after all a true classic.

theariezman, 09 Sep 2008Well Mike and Ronnie I didn't say that N79 or N85 is bad.... moreI hope i wasnt too rough with you about the differences. I agree with you that the n82 is a marvelous device. Since you have an n82, i suggest you wait for a better device. There arent that many differences between n82 and n79/n85.
Personally, i was considering the n82 before the n79 was announced. The only thing that got to me was its audio quality. I wanted something close to the 5310. I'll wait for the n79 review then decide.

            Well Mike and Ronnie
I didn't say that N79 or N85 is bad. I was just comparing it with N82. I am a big fan of Nokia fone.
I am actually wondering what would be the best feature to make my mind to switch on N79 or N85 from N82.
and by the way ther is no information mentioned that N79 comes with 4gb card rather it is mentioned on N82 specs.
Anyhow if it does than thanks for the info.
But still I m not convinced to switch to N79 or N85.

theariezman, 09 Sep 2008N82 is even better than N79 and N85 in features. No other ... moreYou're totally wrong. Just wrong.
The only advantage N82 has is its' xenon flash and that's it! Get it?!

And about memory cards, if you're reading and browsing the web and the specs about N79 and N85, they come with a 4GB and an 8GB microSD cards respectively.

You're not updated, weasel. Better check out the news (or facts, I should say) before you post some erratic statements.

theariezman, 09 Sep 2008N82 is even better than N79 and N85 in features. No other ... moreThe only thing that is better on the n82 is the xenon flash. However, even though it is the brightest, it cannot be used for recording videos in low light. The n79 has a dual led which can do that.
The n79 also comes with a 4gb card as compared to the n82's 2gb card.
Other features that the n82 doesn't have are the fm transmitter, symbian fp2 24 hours of music playback and the changeable back covers.
In terms of egronomics, the n79 also wins as it is lighter, slimmer and has better buttons.

N82 is even better than N79 and N85 in features.
No other phone has ever offered xeon flash.
It even comes with 2GB memory card.
The only difference is 3G HSDPA support which is 3.6 Mbps.
but even my N82 works well with HSDPA only.

I saw and tested this phone, Its pretty similar to the SE K850 BUT!!! It has many advantages, Is has WLAN, is has a Built-in GPS receiver, the memory can be upgraded up to 8gig, I mean this compared to the K850 is a total blowout, compare it for yourself... It is a Nokia after all so the price may be higher than the SE K850 because it has not yet been released...

Chitty Chitty Bang B, 07 Sep 2008Just wait til it's released and til it arrives here. Maybe ... more...Or maybe November. Because to my experience, if a phone gets announced, it arrives here in the Philippines a month later. So that's it. Hope we could have a more accurate info on that.
