i just bought a 2nd hand n79 yesterday...well seems all its specs n features r doing good as in a brand new one...except dt its orig headset n chargers r not there.i just upgraded its software to the latest 32.001 version this morning n seems no changes still...one thing ive noticed though is its camera quality improves! and hopefully ill find other improvements.ill write back!

I am using this phone since last year and with all my experience with this,i must admit that it has worst D- pad . I am saying this due its some feature like navi wheel which once worked but now when it is on my phone just hangs its keypad just stucks. Although it works when i off the navi wheel but if i dont use it than what's the point having this feature . You cannot use its D pad to its perfection while playing games. the only thing i like about it is its 5 mega pixel camera which very good.

Ok, for those wanting to purchase this phone. I have used it for the last 4months and i am on my way of getting a new phone.
First off, the specs of the phone are good, but the keypad is rubbish. The d-pad is hard to press, the small buttons on top need to be pressed with your nails or hard with your thumbs.
The image gallery is slow as nothing i have seen before, the software itself is not as tweakable as in the E series. I regret the day i gave up my E51 for that piece of junk.
It takes really good pictures though, nice video recording, good screen size, awesome music player and sound, GPS work a treat but the interact with all these marvels, one needs a keypad and if the keypad sucks, it makes it all crap.
If only they have put a nice ergonomic keypad, this phone would have been a killer. I wonder what goes in their head sometimes when designing phones, cause this is complete incompetence in terms of keypad.
That is my 2cents, this phone has managed to make me hate nokia and i am going HTC now, bye bye symbian dinausor, i won't be missing you for sure.

my n79 is too slow ya.:) please tell what to do to increase its speed?.:) while playing the video take in handset camera it will struck :-). Struck and play.:) why it is so?

When u speaking about 5530xm, actually 5530 is not support 3G(very sad). And have bad battery life. And every s60v3 phone is not for fast texting n heavy texting.
When u speaking about n85, actually n85 is a slide model, all slide model is easy broken for heavy duty. Oled screen of n85 is very poor when we looking the screen under sunlight.

i dont think this is a gud phon comperd to n82 or 5530xm ...cam quality law...sound quality also unsatisfiable....and small screen (2.4) also bad.......better go for n85 or 5530xm
