I think we cant browse files on other phones connected through bluetooth, like in samsung phones. Is there any app available for this?
Also I found there were no preinstalled games in NGage.

My n79's phone memory is decreasing what looks like automatically... i have just 15mb free space, i dont know what's filling it! i have cleared my web history n cache, have jus three or four additional apps installed, that too in mem card, but still! Please help, any ideas how this is happening?? Any solutions???... Details of my phone shows 49mb of 'other files' hows that?? I dont think phone OS alone takes that much... i have only text msgs in my inbox n i dont store ANYTHING on phone memory... my 8gig mem card is almost full but has no problems... Im using latest device software for my region... So whats makin this issue???

super limited stock! actually ive been searching for this fone for almost 2 weeks and ive been to 4 malls here in the philippines and entered all shops..thank God i found one in sm mall of asia nokia center..only one stock left color silver..mine is white and bought it for PHP13,880 (discounted from 15k)..il just read the comments to learn more about this fone..thanks guyz!

the only problem it is the keyboard that it's not too good. the first month that i bought the phone the keyboard (YES NO buttons) the were broken. :S

i thinks nokia n79 is the best phone i used till now....
it hav all thing u need in ur phone .. and it hav a 32kps download speed... better than pc..
from my side i would give 4.9/5 stars to this phone...
.1 is deducted only for his sound volume.. its sound vol is less than other
also it hav n-gage gaming its the best mobile gaming i ever seen in mobiles..
so buy this phone only ..it is the BEST

ive had this fone just over 1 year and i love it..its got the batteru to enjoy its features and besides xenon its an n82 upgrade..have had a lot of symbian fones but this is tiny but powerfull ,,these touchscreens are not fones they are tablets and too big..i also watch france24 news live and just great..i would vote the n79 the best smartphone ive used,,even n86 ,,x6,,5800,,e75 and so on just too big/heavy..97grammes of pure power is n79....

opera mini 5 now has an app store with some free apps,,go to m.opera.com on n79 browser.. Data costs apply..

i am using google speech recognition software and its pretty good ..go too m.google.com on your fones browser and downkoad the app...it should be in app icon or downloads and is big blue g .wen activated if you press and hold green key to ask quetiom it goes to googles search to get answer...data charges of course apply...

sotir, 18 Apr 2010i bought my n79 yesterday but i dont have fm transmitter t... moremaybe your country does not allow it?? Usually if you play a song and choose options it says plays by fm transmitter..its also buried in settings the app...

i have this phone, i am finding very difficulty in low signal area
phone reception is very poor in low signal area, i cant make phone calls
can anybody help me how to resolve this problem i have tried changing network ic, formatting, updating software and all.

Just picked this up off eBay used for $180 USD, the condition said "light scratches on battery cover", that a deal or what?!
Anyway, I can't wait to get this powerhouse of a phone. The OS seems so much smoother than 5th Edition on the 5530XM.

Its such a superb smartphone and you can hardly feel it in your pocket its lightweight..I have a brown coloured back on at moment and got a pale blue back and sea green coloured back as well in the pack,,i am going to market in city sometime and looking for a white back and a red back..Has anyone got or seen these colours or anyone found any really snazzy looking ones,,i am also going to look if theirs any glow in the dark or neon colours..

Anonymous, 16 Apr 2010hi all.i have a question.my N79 is with an old version of s... moreLEAVE IT..Honestly they say if it aint broke dont fix it...Just because there is a new update often it introduces new bugs..I heard on a nokia update that was worse than the earlier version in fact its happened on android devides,,if its working well with what you use it for then best left alone..People use their smartfones in totally different ways and find faults were others dont,,i dont use gps cause dont have a car so there could people who dont use the wifi and so on so if it works for your purposes thats a bonus..
