inuloveme, 06 Apr 2010plzz anyone tell me...N79 mobile is slow. because I want to... morei answered that type of question about 9 comments ago,,read before posting this is just not only being lazy but getting on the nerves of the people who help and then have to continuously answer the same question again and again..
The n79 is just the same as other n-series at speed but it depends on what you use it for and the apps you put on it and how many apps you have open and so on and on..I have had nearly all n-series and many windows fones..The n79 tho is quite impressive and going to keep it..Pictures are crisp and video is non stuttering,, even new vivaz to me me has jumpy video even tho their praising it??I use it with generic email not nokia messaging and use mms and txt..I use france 24 live tele a lot and use web and so on its really surprised me..I am using 16gb sandisk memory card with no problems,i know all feature pack 2 symbian devices will work with 32gb card just like s/e A200 platform was designed to recognise 32gb card..Battery is good and using my video test ive used since 2004 it went for 12.5hrs fullscreen playback..I use gsm mode with 50% briteness and bluetooth/wifi/gps off ...When i started battery tests gps and wifi werent in fones..
My n79 is sim free in white ,,made in Hungary on v32 firmware..

inuloveme, 06 Apr 2010plzz anyone tell me...N79 mobile is slow. because I want to... moreIn the LOG option, go to 'Settings'. In log duration, set it to 1 day. Also uninstall all the unnecessary softwares including the softwares that may be running in the background. Then it will work fine.

Also do not load your phone memory or memory card FULL OF heavy files (such as 320 kbps MP3 files, high definition videos etc).

my n79's er vertical button on the keypad fell off!!
what do i do?
i can say that it is a pretty pointless button since you can still access everything in the menu, (it is a shortcut)but i really want it back on the keypad since the phone gets terribly ugly whenever i see the button missing..
i doubt that using glue or mighty bond is safe, so should i just bring it to nokia care?
i've only had it for a few months, and the warranty receipt is still with me..

I regularly backup my N79's phone data to my memory card using the file manager every few days. The other day I did a hard reset, and as expected I was able to restore my phone data from my MC with no trouble. But when I tried to back up my phone to my MC as usual some time later, it wouldn't work! It kept saying, 'Memory full. Close all other applications and try again.' But no other apps were running! I've been trying ever since, to no avail.
When I checked my MC on a computer, the folder where the backup file usually goes is empty, but a file is supposed to be there. How do I get that back? It seems my phone couldn't generate a new backup file.
Any help please? Thanks.

i purchased this phone 2 days back overall the phone is good but i'm facing problem with music player, whenever i try to play song, the music player gets hangs and not plays the song. what is the solution for this prob. pls send me.

.not noisy keypads
.can read word, excel and adobe
.and many more interesting applications
.battery doesn't drain easily
But after 1 year of using, my keypads. I can open messages but when i text, it hangs. The cellphone technicians told me to change it's IC [i don't even know what it was]... TSK! I've decided to leave it that way. Goodbye N79! Heheh...

This one is the best to use and understanding features is also very easy,in fact a total beginner will also not have any problem using it.Just takes some time to switch on...rest everything about the phone is perfect.
